It's time to give your team something a bit more scalable than a shared spreadsheet. Tectonic lets you swap the sheets for fully customizable software, without needing to code. And yes, it works great on mobile.

I thought pre-launch products weren't allowed on ProductHunt? This is just a newsletter signup.

@hemanth_soni Not pre-launch, but we've had a flood of launch-day traffic, so we temporarily limited registration to give our SSL cert provider some breathing room. You should be able to sign up directly now!

@hemanth_soni @skellystudios Signup still seems to link to a waitlist survey?

What is this? How is it different/better than Airtable (which Tectonic integrates with)?
Michael Skelly
@chrismessina Yeah, great question. Basically, where Airtable is a database dressed up as a spreadsheet, this is a database displayed like a web app. It's like a bespoke/custom CRM/ERP, but with whatever data makes sense for your business use case.

Welcome, the new no-code tool!

Really excited to launch this to you today. Can't wait to find out what you'll use it for!

?makers so, I could theoretically use Tectonic as a way to display my airtable data in a more readable / presentable manner? If I don't have an existing data source (like an Airtable base or Google Sheets spreadsheet) and I want to enter a lot of data into Tectonic, what's the best way to do that? The great thing about Airtable is that it's very easy to add items and information. The bad thing is that all that information is presented in a spreadsheet format, which isn't good when it comes to referencing info or sharing bases with non-technical people. By the way, can your web app be "installed" as a Progressive Web App? I'm looking forward to playing with Tectonic but I'd appreciate some more info first. This post and your landing page are very vague...

I'm signed up but I feel like I walked into a very buggy alpha version... there's no onboarding so it's not clear what I'm suppose to do once I'm in. Just poking around there doesn't seem to be an intuitive way to actually create anything like you've marketed you could. Your icon image links show as broken.. I see "Add a new feature" but there doesn't seem to be any way to actually build anything useful. One of the 'features' literally says "Experimental - don't install this." Another is for announcing a baby?? I'm assuming the best and hoping I somehow ended up on a version you didn't intend to release as the one I'm using is clearly not ready for use.
