#TechForUkraine is a campaign by Tech To The Rescue matching IT companies with international non-profit organizations helping Ukraine amid war. All tech companies are welcome to join and provide help where it’s needed.
Fantastic initiative to see. Recently, we have seen countless actions aimed at helping Ukraine, many of them are grassroots initiatives and it is easy to get lost in the information noise. We, people representing the world of technology, have the unique skills and opportunities to organize this information so that help can get quickly and efficiently where it is actually needed.
You can't make an impactful change without technology. The people in Ukraine & involved NGOs need this support more than ever before. #TechForUkraine is a beautiful initiative, thank you for doing this.
Hi there Makers!
This is Daniel from Tech To The Rescue. I want to thank each and every one of you who signed up to support NGOs providing help for Ukraine.
Nearly 300 companies and over 600 freelancers with great talent and amazing skill sets are uniting to deliver help exactly when and where it is needed. This is a force that no one can stop – the force that is already building solutions to solve immediate problems Ukrainian refugees face.
We’re witnessing something extraordinary as the Tech world unites for Ukraine.
I am honoured to be a part of this community. Together we have a massive impact that will change the world 🇺🇦✌️
Hi! I'm Tom and I'm one of the first team members of Tech To The Rescue.
I want to introduce you to @jacek_siadkowski_tttr and @danieldigiusto who founded Tech To The Rescue to match tech companies with NGOs and help build digital solutions that can solve the world's pressing problems.
The Russian invasion of Ukraine has prompted us to launch an immediate response campaign #TechForUkraine. According to the latest data, 3-5 million Ukrainian civilians will seek refuge in neighboring countries. 300,000 have already crossed the border.
At the moment, they need shelter and transportation, but soon they will need systematic legal support, translation services, and job search.
Local and international non-governmental organizations, therefore, need digital help to coordinate humanitarian aid and maximize their efforts. They need support in areas such as:
🔒 cybersecurity
📊 building databases
📱 safe communication
📑 resource management systems
💰 donations
💻 software
If you want to donate your time, expertise, and know-how to help non-profits and make a real impact, join us! All tech companies and freelancers are welcome.
We already have 300+ companies and 600+ freelancers on board, but we are not stopping there. We are launching our first projects and working on dozens more that have the potential to literally help people, including:
Internal humanitarian aid database from various NGOs as part of the NGO Forum in Poland.
Chatbot/Conversational UI in Ukrainian, collecting useful data for migrants from various sources.
Ukrainian map of Poland (translated content) with an API to connect and display various aid services on the map (NGO activities, pharmacies, etc.).
We need you - every pair of hands, every company and startup willing to work pro bono to support civil society and maximize humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

Great idea. I think a lot of us are looking to meaningfully help Ukraine but don't know how. Signed up a few days ago and I'm excited to see what opportunities you have for us to make a contribution.
@moritz_walther Great Moritz, thank you! We're coordinating all the projects and submissions right now to make the most out of it. We started with the most pressing issues but definitely, it will be a marathon, not a sprint.
@moritz_walther Hi Moritz, please check out our launch today if you have moment - https://www.producthunt.com/post... We're hoping to find more people to help. Our goal is to provide trusted ways for donors to meaningfully support Ukrainians on the ground.
