Hi Hunters! 👋 John here, co-founder of Taskade. We are super excited to launch Taskade 3.0 today, the all-in-one collaboration tool for remote teams. 🚀 Create the perfect workflow for your team and browse over 500+ Templates. Get started in seconds and let us know what you think. Taskade is simple, flexible, and fun! Our app is available on Web, iOS, Android, Chrome, Firefox, Mac and PC. So why Taskade? 🤔 🧠 ⚡️ There are tools you can hack together for remote work. Then, there are remote-native tools: tools built by and designed for remote teams. By the time @dionisloire, @lxcid, and I started Taskade, we had been working together as a remote team for many years. We enjoyed the freedom and flexibility of working from anywhere—but we were also frustrated about having to hack together multiple tools in order to GTD. Few of the communication, collaboration, and project management tools in the typical "remote stack" felt like they were designed for remote teams. Virtually none were designed by remote-first teams. We ended up constantly switching between a handful of different tabs and tools just to complete the basic functions of our day to day work. To paper over that fragmentation, we rely on group chat—a noisy, technological reflection of the open office's worst tendencies. That's what inspired us to build Taskade. Taskade is one simple tool that allows teams to manage projects, brainstorm ideas, write product specs, and video chat together seamlessly, with everything syncing in real-time across all devices. ✍️ 💬 ✅ There are many exciting updates in the pipeline, please send us your ideas and suggestions, and join us on this journey to help shape the future of remote work, and build the unified workspace for distributed teams. You can now use Taskade for free without any workspace restrictions. Create as many projects and templates as you like, collaborate with as many people as you need, across all our platforms. Thanks again for the support and please don’t hesitate to leave a comment or reach out to us directly! — John and Team Taskade What's New in Taskade 3.0? 🧐 We’ve made a ton of progress since the Taskade 2.0 launch. Bogdan Ionita
Congrats! it looks cool and covers many aspects of working together remotely. This tech shift of project management brings a lot of goodies :D
John Xie
@bogdan_ionita Thanks for the kind comment! We are definitely seeing a major shift in the way teams work and collaborate together. We actually wrote about it recently on our blog here on what it means to be remote-first vs remote-friendly, might be helpful: https://www.taskade.com/blog/rem...
Matic Uzmah
Great app @johnxie ! I've been using Taskade for several months and I love it. The ability to create templates for recurring task lists (such as weekly chores) and the ability to sort lists into separate workspaces (Personal, work, household, etc) to control who it is shared with is amazing. I'm not a super organized person but this is exactly what I need to manage my personal chaos.
John Xie
@matic_uzmah1 Thanks for the kind feedback. We have a long way to go, follow our progress for the rest of 2020 and beyond! Always open to feedback and suggestions.

I have been looking for a free tool to create roadmaps for a long time. It is easy to use and I can create the roadmap items and create subtasks!
John Xie
@andrejfodor Thanks Andrej. We have a few big improvements coming soon to the Taskade Roadmaps feature for team workspaces. Stay tuned!
Pawel Lubiarz
Great app to orginize your workspace and it is cool that you can make calls with it.
John Xie
@pawellubiarz Thanks Pawel! Glad you noticed our video calling feature. It is a bit tucked away and we are still working on improving it. Here is a good video explaining how to chat and video conference on Taskade:
Teo
I have both the app and desktop version. I have to say that I can't wait to use this for school. Everything is so organised, the layout is pleasing to see. I also like how you can add other people into your workroom. If I keep using this I'll give you a full 5 star.
John Xie
@teo_infincube Thanks Teo! We will continue to improve the desktop version of Taskade, and indeed, Taskade is designed for getting work done together in real-time. Let us know if you have any questions or suggestions. Here is our roadmap and progress: https://www.taskade.com/v/B1Q8lM...
David Henzel
I love it! it's easy to use but has complex organizational structure. Makes you want keep all your information one app. Perfect app for remote teams.
John Xie
@davidhenzel Thanks for the feedback David. Hope you tried our Org Chart view as well, it is a work in progress, but lets you visualize and map out your team's structure: https://www.taskade.com/new/brai...
Joseph Yeh
Congratulations! Love the product, very easy to use. Really like using some of the cool features like changing the layout. Excited to see what comes next for Taskade!
John Xie
@joseph_yeh2 Thanks Joseph! We will continue to make the changing Layouts / Views better on Taskade. As we discussed before, Taskade views are persistent, similar to folding a piece of origami. We also blogged about it recently here on the Origami Method: https://www.taskade.com/blog/col...

I have stopped looking for task management apps since I found Taskade. It manages my work, side projects and personal life. Simply great. Some things I'd love to have though: 1. Ability to sort lists in a workspace by dates (start-date) 2. Dedicated agenda page to look at tasks for the day from all the workspaces 3. iOS widgets :D 4. Pomodoro feature.
Dionis Loire
@navap Check, check, check and check. These are already in the pipeline, thank you for the feedback!
Christian Piponides

When a user maxes out on free storage, can they still add more attachments and the oldest ones get deleted? Or do they need to upgrade before attaching any more files?
Dionis Loire
@dannywong1190 Your old attachments will not be deleted, you should have plenty of storage with a free account though. Let us know if you need more :)
Dionis Loire
@dannywong1190 This might be a helpful tip: If you want to attach an image to your tasks, you can just copy the image from your desktop (or any web image) and paste into a task to upload. This should save you a little time.
