Been using Synth for the past month for user discovery calls and it's sooo nice being able to just focus on the conversation instead of taking notes the whole time!

I'm super excited to try but... confusing sign up flow? Is this product in beta or is it available? Answered the questionnaire but there are no times for onboarding meeting in the next two months I guess?

Where was this when I was struggling to go through all those online classes and somehow pass by.
Can totally imagine my GPA skyrocket with something as handy for online classes as this tool. Wishing you guys the gains my GPA couldn't see.🚀

Hey PH family 👋, @vaibhav_saxena18 @urvin_soneta1 and @suneel_matham here and we are co-founders and makers of Synth!
During our time at an AI fellowship together (Plaksha TLF) and while building this startup, we were drowned with meetings. It didn't just stop there, as founders and students we were constantly up-skilling ourselves by watching YouTube videos and listening to podcasts. But all this information was getting lost after a few days. We were failing to capture this information because it was really tedious to type and took our focus away from the content.
We looked for solutions and found apps that would require us to learn them, split our screens, shift tabs, move our focus to them and even spend time afterwards manually putting information (taking notes, action items, summaries and what not).
When the time came to retrieve these notes or access that one amazing quote or an idea that we liked, we were just spending more time searching it (Vaibhav took over 200,000 words worth of notes from audio in the last 6 months and till date finds it difficult to get the information back when he needs). We hated it!!! You know how it feels.

As an early user of the product, I have been using Synth for all my meetings and while learning from online courses. While the full audio transcript is quite handy, the audioshot feature is the real game changer! Enables me to quickly and effectively capture important information so as to review them later.

Have used Synth a number of times to generate notes from online tutorials and meetings, so I could focus on just the screen and discussions, without failing to keep up. Eager to see this grow!
I've been using Synth for a while now. As a budding podcaster, it is quite a treat! I can transcribe my interviews and save so much time, I get suggestions for key points which I can use for social media posts/ highlights. And something I really appreciate is they've been constantly improving the app. So now there's a summary feature too. I'm going to start some online classes and will use Synth for notes there too. :)

Capturing & transcribing device audio is a game changer. I just leave Synth running in the background and get detailed notes for my meetings. Love the fact that transcription happens on device, rather than on the cloud.
Couple of things I'd like to see:
- More accurate transcriptions for non-American accents
- Google calendar integration so I don't need to create notes manually
