I've used this app for a couple trips to Europe and it save me a bunch of time!!!! It helps to expose many activities and provides great background information that otherwise would have taken a huge amount of time to research. With an easy to use UI to help organize your visit, update/add missing information, and even schedule your trip activities for each day makes this a great travel companion. I love this app!!!
Followed the steps that @nevosadova suggested but have been having problems. I subscribed to Prime, then filled out the Product Hunt form, but sygic isn't recognizing me as a prime/premium member. I got the activication email, completed the confirmation, and checked to see if charge hit my account - it did, so not sure what's happening (I did submit a support request on Fri).
@scottwwilliams Hi Scott, as mentioned above, we are closing the form on Sunday. Afterwards we will activate premium accounts to all the registered people.
@simona_peckova1 Thanks. So, since I registered & paid for Prime, will the amount be credited back to me? I don't think I followed the instructions correctly - rereading your post, I should've registered for the free account (instead of purchasing Prime) then completed the form. Thanks for your help.
@simona_peckova1 One more question: I'm going to be traveling in Europe with my family in July. Can I invite them into sygic or do we need separate accounts for each family member?
@scottwwilliams Regarding to your question on shared planning - yes, you should have a separate accounts. So the other members see the trip in their apps as well. More infromation here: https://help.sygic.com/en/sygic-....
My favorite travel planner, easy to use, fully flexible and has never let me down so far.
I wish there were more point of interests. Restaurants don't have any reviews and so I have to use Foursquare as well.
Great app. I used it for my first adventure in Mexico last year and It was really useful to share my trip with my friends and family. Really easy to use in order to let them know where we were as references.
The only travel app I use! These guys did a great job with this one in terms of UX / UI - keeping it simple, yet managing to deliver all those super necessary features.
If you are one of those people that likes to plan and be organized in terms of schedule - you'll love this app.
Oh and yeah, I love "Past" tab, where I can reflect on my trips :D
@nickabouzeid We include VR in our app - there are 360° videos/photos of interesting places, when available. We made the video to promote the 360°videos in our app. We thought it would be good to use it here.
I have been using Sygic Travel since before it was Sygic and is my only application I use when planning trips. The changes in the last few years with additional functionality has been great. The support team responds rapidly to any concerns and/or question. Best Travel Application hands down.
Hi guys, are the trips/ tours proposed on Sygic sold by professionals OR are they proposed by private individuals? (Is it B2C or C2C). Example, I know Paris by heart, can I propose a customised tour on your platform? Thanks :)
@antoineone Hi Antoine, the trips are made by users themselves and they can share it with others and invite them to join the itinerary. However, these itineraries are not sold by any professionals. We suggest itineraries for a day in the app based on the data that we collect and we offer tours with professional guides that can be purchased.
Curious what the core differentiator here is when compared to Google Trips? I've used that app recently on a Eurotour and it was very similar in terms of value add and UX - extremely useful and helpful.
@puneet_kohli We were there before Google Trips, but we have noticed similarities with our app when Google Trips launched ;-) We focus more on trip planning in advance - you can use our website to find all the information and then use the app when on the road.
This app saves your day when you are not sure about your travel schedule. Just pick what sights you want to visit and create a travel plan with a few taps. Offline maps are especially helpful when you are abroad and have no data access. Sygic Travel FTW!
