@pax93fcb Definitely. We had built this system many times before and felt the same. On surface it looks like a simple service of integration and calling vendor APIs. But like you rightly said, it is so much more - you need good architecture at scale, you need redundancy to make it reliable, and constant features to improve user experience - observability, logs, templating, unsubscription to name a few.

We as developers build and maintain many services in code, one of them being notification service. In the last 5-7 years, API to user communications have exploded across SMS, email, chat apps, mobile and web push. As a consequence, notification service handling them has become quite complex. Developers spend time to build integrations with multiple providers, create templates for each channel, manage scheduling and routing based on preferences, maintain queues to deliver notifications on time while managing scale. Besides, product teams have poor visibility on notifications as everything is inside the code and spread across different teams.
Me and my co-founder Nikita Navral (@nikita_navral1) built similar service in all our previous companies, and felt the urge that this layer should be abstracted once and for all.

Quick question - We're currently building an NFT based gaming marketplace. Curious if you service Web3 clients too? Can you suggest how SuprSend can help us in building a Web3 marketplace. Right now we're building notifications in-house and would love it if SuprSend could save us some time and resources ;)

@el28n We are "supr" relevant for any company building and sending notifications. Two of our very early adopters are web3 companies and has helped them go live on multiple channels very quickly. Do try us out and you will not be disappointed :)
@el28n A marketplace has a lot of usecases of product notifications generating from cross-channel activity. If a guy buys an NFT in marketplace, both buyer and seller have to be informed. Without a reliable notification service in place, the user experience just breaks. We solve by bringing a multi-channel, reliable and scalable notification service, so you don't have to build it yourself.

This looks fantastic! I just finished creating a notifications micro-service for the startup I work for and this would have saved me so much time. The only other thing I would need is an Expo integration to use the React Native SDK in Expo, but to also send push notifications through the Expo-Notifications plugin. Overall, this looks amazing and very easy to use.

This is one of those things that every company spends time building internally, of course - with a choppy service at best (because sending notifications is not their core product). This makes a lot of sense.
