Great product @jirka_trecak! If you can solve the data layer preferably integrating with firebase auth and cloud functions you could really get 90% of the way there from an end to end perspective
If this actually fulfills the things it promises, I've been thinking that something like this needed to exist for years. You guys actually did it. Wow.
@ctothejones Thanks! - I can assure you it does work - that is why we've created very extensive tutorial series - creating of "Spacebook" so people understand and believe that there is finally a tool that can deliver on this specific promise. It is 2018 and the development is the only area I know of that is missing automation - quite a strange thing, if you ask me, but as a maker of Supernova, I understand just how hard is to do it.

@wuss It is coming in next few months (REST APIs + model creation at the beginning). We already have the basic groundwork for that done. Data layer will be available on the Cloud as well, so you'll be able to collaborate / prototype with your team on the real data.
@jirka_trecak you're awesome!!!! lots of attempts in the past to try and do this, and they never really end up delivering on the promise. My hope is that Supernova makes their solution thoughtful, even if it means limited functionality in the beginning.
Maybe you could even offload some of the work to a pre-existing service? For instance, allowing me to setup/manage logic and data via Zapier or IFTTT, then just allow Supernova to access those triggers and output. Anyways, keep doing what you're doing :)!
@wuss Don't worry. We spent years thinking about this product, and how to make it work properly. When we introduce something, it will work the best way possible :)
While companies such as InVision are focusing on building yet another design tool, you guys have built something truly innovative and game-changing. I wish you success. This tool was much needed! 👏
@robertsozolins Thank you, we are absolutely overwhelmed by the positivity that people show towards this product. We've developed it because we are designers and developers as well - and currently, there was no product that would make our cooperation smooth and enjoyable - I think all people experienced this problem.

@searchresults HTML + React web :) Desktop is usually highly specific in what it does - would not be feasible to do something like this, probably.

Would I be able to take the app built in supernova to the App Store? I couldn't find that answer on the site
@perazamichael Thanks, it took us an absurd amount of time, but we are super happy with how it turned out. As for the question - no, you will not. Not yet anyway. Supernova is a tool that helps you with the UI conversion - if your application is strictly UI (which almost never happens), then, in theory, you could. But in a real world, you'll still need to code the "backend" of the application. So you export to XCode, you create the backend and then publish to store.
Looks great. I have been using Marvel for rough layouts and flows when trying to show teams ideas for various projects. Majority already use Sketch when finalizing design aspects this could save a lot of time for them on the development side!
@natelegler This is exactly our goal Nate. The issue with the current prototyping tools is that you throw away your work - something that for us, personally, was a big issue. When using Supernova, it is possible to save up to 50% (ideal case, but achievable) on the app you are building - meaning you can do twice as many. With the current shortage of designers and developers, this can help all the founders and teams out there :)

This truly looks amazing and I can't wait to use it. A couple question, who ultimately owns the app? Do I own and can have access to everything? Can I download all full files ready to upload to my computer and edit from there? What language is the app built in?
@themelamini Hello Melanie! You absolutely own everything. We don't store anything, nor we use some proprietary third technology - everything that you get is pure, generated native code.

Game-changer is an oft over-used term, but surely in this case it's appropriate?
Supernova isn't another 'get app quick' tool that simply spits out some dubious quality binary, it's a finely tuned and fully featured Sketch > native (or ReactN) code creator that bridges the ridiculous gap which exists between UI design and app development.
Read through their feature list and add up how many hours just *one* of them will save you on your next app project.

9 months ago, we've launched a beta on PH and it was great to hear what community has to say - now we have the product that actually works, is polished and we cannot be happier to share it today - it is completely new experience for everyone as we reworked pretty much every part of the Studio based on the feedback.
