Super 3.0 — Create websites with Notion

Thanks @benln once again for hunting Super! And thank you to Super community for the support you’ve given us all these years. The team and I are so grateful for this wonderful community of creative and inspiring people. Last year we launched Super 2.0, a pivotal moment for our product. It brought Super from a cool but rough concept to a mature and capable product. Since then we’ve seen thousands of indie hackers, bloggers, start-ups, as well as small & large businesses choose Super for creating powerful websites in Notion. Following that launch we worked hard to push features, create documentation and guides, and sought feedback from our customers on what the next major update to Super should look like. But as we made new things, old things started to break. It became apparent that the dashboard was not always easy to understand, and the codebase was becoming a burden. We had to take a step back to take two more forward. Today I’m proud to announce Super 3.0 ⚡️! The latest evolution in the first Notion website builder. We’ve completely rebuilt our dashboard to handle the vision of Super for years to come. Our new and improved design systems and better coding practices & patterns under the hood enable us to create features faster with better accessibility and UX while maintaining a robust product. This new dashboard is also shipping with a few highly requested features: * Site design settings * Navbar dropdown lists * Light/dark theme toggle * Buy domains in the dashboard * Support page * Sign in with Apple/Google * In partnership with Identity Digital, we’re offering a free domain for every site on a yearly plan! We’ve also improved: * Page SEO settings * Page management * Account pages We’re still eager to provide our customers with fast, powerful websites while pushing what’s possible with Notion. I cannot believe that it's soon going to be THREE YEARS since I discovered and became an avid user of Super. Our website (optemization.com) has been built on this wonderful platform since day one. And we also create a variety of Super websites for our clients! The concept of Super is so simple but the execution has been bar none. I'm incredibly impressed with how Jason and the team have been shipping updates and I'm really excited about the future of this product! If you're sharing Notion pages publically consider using Super to create a spiffy and engaging UX for your visitors and/or users. It's perfect for landing pages and internal resource portals :)

Congrats on the launch! @trillcyborg what about the geography of Super's hosting? I know few companies from Kazakhstan who tried using Squarespace, but because all servers were in the US, latency was quite high. I wonder what would that be for Super.

Congrats on the launch! I use Super and have created a portfolio template for it and honestly can't recommend it enough. Easy to use and the way it integrates with Notion is seamless. Hyped for 3.0.

This past summer, I used Notion and Super to introduce and train my team in the art and science of designing and launching websites. I am repeating the process with a second project this year. Excited to see where this goes next and am keen on learning what's next/happening with analytics, animation, and plugins.

What a massive revamp. Love the new dashboard settings and sidebar navigations – they are more intuitive and clean. And theme customizations, especially colors, got even better. The best part for me is the navbar dropdown list. Can't wait for the footer to get an update, too. Hopefully it'll be soon. Congrats for the massive update, Super team!
