Sunsama for macOS organizes all the work you need to do each day in one place. It's like Trello + Google Calendar. The new macOS desktop app helps you stay focused throughout the day without getting distracted by your browser.
Use it for 3 weeks now. Really like it! Would love to see a pomodoro timer built in.
UPDATE Sept 6: Just upgraded to paid Pro version. Love it.
Things I miss:
- Mobile App
- Pomodoro Timer
Will see what can I achieve with the API (it is included in PRO version) and will report back.
Pros:Easy to use, helps to GTD
Cons:Sometimes the window disappears, have to restart the app
The hard thing I find, is that Sunsama almost is useless if you use different services than they currently integrate. With the massive amount of tools and services that are offered online, I wonder if there's a user they can actually find fitting to their use case.
In my workflow, I need JIRA, Asana, Trello, Meistertask, Apple reminders and culturedcode things to be integrated, to pull all my tasks into one platform. Currently Apple calendar / fantastical do an OK job on that, Sunsama just simply isn't cutting.
Oh and the lack of two way sync for some things made me stop using it, sorry guys!
Pros:Great looks, intuitive design, nice name
Cons:Integrations are very meager
