@arfanchaudhry Nope, we don't plan on selling placement like Outbrain. We have some Pro features, but mainly just want to help sites using SumoMe grow. A rising tide network effect.
Looks really good. Not sure I'm convinced yet.
I'd like more info about how they make sure the traffic to my site is relevant. I think I'm not alone with rather having few visitors (that are really relevant) than many irrelevant visitors! 🔎👥
I've installed and i have a few questions:
1. Somebody will moderate each site who install the widget ? I am asking this because i have a website in design niche and i see ads from : Asian Dating & Relationships
2. I see outgoing traffic but no incoming traffic at all. How many outgoing clicks do i need to give until i receive something back ?
@webmasterdeals Yes we monitor it. Relevancy will increase as inventory increases. We'll keep improving it. If you're not getting clicks back, I would try improving your link copy and image.
@getbrandflakes Similar, except Outbrain is pay-to-play and this is merit based. Your placement is based on the amount you're featuring other people's articles.
I like the idea--to add to it, it'd be cool to get a weekly digest of content, separated by different interests. I'd love to see what the most shared/clicked links from 150,000+ sites looks like.
@rogerh1991 Love this. We'll be getting a lot of good data on what kinds of headlines & images get the most clicks, so there's a lot of potential with content or weekly digests to share that.
I like the idea but I think is very blog oriented where there are articles and at the end there are more similar articles. What happen to other kind of websites?
This seems perfect for social apps and sites. I love seeing things like today's hunt Candidate, but realistically I end up downloading them, they don't hit critical mass in my locale, and I lose interest.
