Congrats on the launch! Would like to clarify if the terminology 500 activations = 500 summary usages?
@charlestehio, thank you! Correct, 500 activations = 500 summary usages. However, clicks don't add up during the same session (if you opened the page and clicked multiple times). We designed our plans so that product owners could test Summer for free and upgrade the subscription based on their customers' actual usage.
This is a pretty interesting idea. People don't have time to read a long blog post and AI summary can certain help with that. I think what makes Summer unique is that you can embed the lead magnet/CTA INTO the summary vs other plugins/tools will skip out that important CTA.

Looks really clean! The ability to still show the CTA and relevant products in the summary is pretty nice. That was my initial concern but nice job on the way it has been implemented. Will try to test it out for sure! Good luck @kirill_zhe
I like your product, it's simple, direct, and has a minimalist design. However, I feel that the entry barrier on the official website is a bit high. Do I have to register to experience it? As a website owner, I would prefer to quickly experience the details from the perspective of a reader/user before deciding whether to introduce it to my blog.

You're partly right. We don't have a demo blog to show how the button works from a user's perspective. We'll add one soon.

Ofcourse such a great tool because you can summarize long form texts and save time. Really appreciate these kind of tools which help save time. I love to read blogs and having a easily accessible summary is always appreciated.
I would love to see more UI design options so that I can make it fit more tightly into my vision for my site.

Congrats on the launch! Looks very slick. Question: how can I change the CTA copy from "Summarize" to something in a different language, in case I want to implement it in a blog that is not in English?

There is no such option right now. We're thinking about adding the ability to choose a language. Most likely, it won't be dynamically changing based on content language, so you will need to select the language yourself in the appearance section.

But I'm worried about whether these blog posters really need this tool. If I were a reader, getting a summary of the content might make me lose interest in listening to the whole thing.😕
Moreover, are there any plans to connect Summer AI with more blogging platforms to reach a bigger audience?
@cassandra11 Nice comment, but we are sure that the reader in many cases will choose between "give an article last chance by clicking Summary button" or "leave a page immediately"

I'm super excited to share a project that I've been working on with my friends – it's called Summer.
In a nutshell, Summer is a button that you can add to your blog. When readers click it, they get a quick summary of your article. It's a win-win: readers get the gist of your content quickly, and bloggers get another chance to engage with their audience and promote their products.
This project started back in January when my friend Dima said he was ready to invest six months of his free time into something cool. We brainstormed a bunch of ideas and finally settled on this one. We’ve all got full-time jobs, so this has been a labor of love in our spare time.
We noticed that a lot of people prefer consuming content in a summarized form. There are already tools out there that help readers with this, but we wanted to create something that comes directly from the blog authors themselves. This way, bloggers can control the narrative and even recommend related products or articles.
🚀 It works extremely simple:
- Generate the code to embed the button on your blog.
- Click the button to get a summary of the article.
- Collect emails from readers who want to subscribe to your summaries.
- Track button performance and user engagement.
