Subtask brings together multiple views that let you organize work the way you want, and prioritize more effectively by weighing the costs and benefits on an effort/value grid. Break down work into pieces, manage statuses, assignments, & scheduling with ease.

@clbecker This takes care of most of Trello's downfalls. The only issue I'm having is when importing from Trello, in the "Task Group" view all of my to-dos show the details instead of just the title. This makes the list a mile long and almost impossible for me to correctly group my tasks. Is there a way to shut off the details being show while in this view?

@clbecker @tom_binga thanks for pointing that out - we have that on our shortlist to fix today.

Teams today need more than an online post-it board to get challenging work done. Teams need tools that help them break down work, debate the tradeoffs, and figure out what to do first. Subtask began as internal tool that we used ourselves - here's a few key things that have helped us work better: * Breaking down & Organizing work: Our task boards let us break down, group, and rearrange tasks the way we want. Research & experience have shown that breaking large projects down into small pieces helps you get them done more effectively. * Prioritizing by effort & value: When we consider all the work on our plate using these 2 axes, we're able to better understand our risks and make the right bets that give us the best bang for the buck. We use the effort/value matrix every sprint to figure out what to focus on. * Multiple views. Most project management tools out there just give you one way to organize and manage your tasks. That seems silly to us. Subtask lets you easily switch views when you want to manage work in a kanban board, or view in calendar, priority matrix, or group by team member assignment. * Realtime collaboration: everyone can jump into the board and view each other's changes in realtime. Now that we're all working remotely, this has been super helpful to us. All in all, most task software out there has become little more than a lot of forms you fill out and a button you press when the work is done so that a manager somewhere can get a status update. We think that project management software of the future should do more to help the team work together and solve problems more effectively. Try it out and let us know what you think!

This is like trello but on steroids, or traveling through hyperspace, or whatever exxxxxxxtreme analogy you want to make. Our remote team of 5 has been having a lot more success planning and managing our projects after we transitioned to Subtask. Highly recommended++

I like this. simple but useful for power users as well. mobile or tablet version?
clbecker
@gregw for now we've tried to make the web app as friendly as possible to use on mobile and tablet. (We don't have a mobile app on our roadmap yet, but if Subtask gains traction we'll have it high on our list to consider)

@clbecker does Subtask have 2-way sync with Trello? It would be nice to have some type of integration with another task manager with a mobile app as a workaround in the meantime.
clbecker
@arman_abedini1 We don't have that at the moment, but we've heard similar requests to have 2-way sync with other tools such as Jira. It's definitely something that's creeping up on our radar, so who knows, maybe a late-night hacking spree will cause it to happen:)

Absolutely love what your guys have built here! This really is a unique product in this space. I've been looking/waiting for something like this for quite some time. Looking forward to getting started with it!

@arman_abedini1 Thanks! We'd love to hear more about what you'd like to see in it after you've had a chance to dive in!
