Love the product, not a big fan of the UI. The top bar is quite big and it "sticky"!! Why?? It is blocking my view. Also the screen is full of so many elements! Learn from PH, Indiehackers etc.
Dan Lewis
@itsshashank Hi Shashank, thanks for the feedback. This is phase 1 and we will be bringing in a new UI. Will bear in mind your feedback when we get to the new designs. I think our Ipad version of the site needs some work as this is the most cluttered at the moment. Will keep you posted. Thank you for posting! Will check out your product.

@danlewistech Been using the community and there are issues with caching I believe. I got an email that someone replied -> https://westryve.com/communities... But I can't see the reply when I visit the webpage.
Dan Lewis
@itsshashank Hi Shashank, have logged this bug and will get this fixed :) Also changing some of the posting UX to make it easier :)

This looks really interesting Dan. It feels more like a social network to me. I recently left Facebook (after taking a break). There was lots I liked (the chance to connect, learn, share, etc.) but just too much I didn't like (the effect on mental health, the invasion of privacy, the questionable ethics, etc.). I'm sure I'm not alone. Is part of the move you've made here to capitalise on this feeling?
Dan Lewis
@garethkthomas Yeah I've got fedup of junk "feeds". I wanted to create a place where you could actually find communities to be apart of from a learning sense & that was privacy focused.

Hi all, I'm Dan, founder of Stryve (Formally Digital Profile). Over the last 6 months the business has been going through a transformation process, evaluating who we are, why we exist, and what we’re trying to achieve. We’ve created the foundations to help us grow, it’s time to take our vision to the next step! Our new platform you will be able to post, rate, suggest learning resources & ask for career guidance from the community. You’ll be able to follow friends and peers through their learning journey, and find out what people are learning. We’ll match you to relevant career opportunities, courses, books, meetups, people, and much more. This is a new chapter and I welcome any feedback.

Major improvements today. Public pages now built for Server-side rendering with @vercel, new header design in-app, onboarding made easier, discovery centre to search communities on homepage, switched to usefathom, removed comment reply limits, & visual changes.

Amazing community and glad to be part of it, Helpful and very down to earth people.. UI can be improved and in my opinion functionalities should be the priority to fulfill and Stryve is pretty goood at it.. So yeah KUDOS TO THE TEAM. Cheers.

@danlewistech This looks awesome - yesterday I launched Ethical Explorer Pack a toolkit for Product Managers, designers, developers and founders who want to learn how to design socially responsible tech. Stryve seems like a great platform to share it on. Love that you are clear about your company values - we need more tech that prioritizes transparency & privacy!
Dan Lewis
@kacie_harold Thank you Kacie. Will check out you toolkit and would love for you to post it in our community. :)

Dan - this looks awesome! Interested to know what made you pivot into learning platform from digital CVs ? Thanks Baf
Dan Lewis
@product_wow We always wanted to do more with learning, just never knew how we wanted to do it. The profile CV and jobs will still be part of the platform but a secondary outcomes rather than primary.
Brooke Williams
Hey Dan, love the look of the product and the name. What type of content should I be posting and can businesses post content?
Dan Lewis
@brooke_williams Good questions, content posts can be blogs, articles, podcasts, books, videos, ect that could help someone else improve their skills/knowledge base. We will have a feature for businesses in the near future to post to communities but very limited on what they can post. Not to interfere with the community aspect.
Martin Shelford
The product is looking excellent! Tech enthusiasts will find this massively helpful in navigating learning and building their networks. Well done everyone 👌
Dan Lewis
@martin_shelford Thank you for all your support.

Such a good tool for the technical among us, who don't want a technical interface when discovering, learning, looking for subject matter experts and work. A great place to connect. And knowing that it puts privacy, transparency and user control first just adds to the sense of this being a safe place to collaborate. Certainly recommend.
Dan Lewis
@timd79 Thanks for the feedback Tim. Glad you like.
Neil Cocker
What stage of career is this best suited for, Dan?
Dan Lewis
@neilcocker Great question. Its for any level. People are posting learning material from all different levels. In fact one of the features you can say what level you think it's best for.
Scott Goddard
Think this looks great. What sort of things are people sharing and posting?
Dan Lewis
@scott_goddard2 Could be anything from a question around tech to people recommending blogs, articles, podcasts, books, meetups, ect to help guide others.
Elliot Thomas
As an avid Quora reader I can definitely see the need for this - love it!
Dan Lewis
@elliot_thomas Quora was one of the sites we researched :)
Zara Nanu
Great for community building! Excited to be a part of it.
Dan Lewis
@zara_nanu Look forward to you sharing content :)
Doris Ferguson
