Use Stripe Payment Links to sell online without a website. Create a full payment page in just a few clicks and share the link with your customers—no code required.
Very cool!
I can't see an option to redirect after success, is that possible?
Are there plans to expand this to swap between subscriptions during the checkout?
@volkandkaya in the meantime, I've enabled custom redirects for Stripe payment links. Here's a test demo! Use the 4242 details and you'll be redirected to this thread after a checkout success

Hey @joshuaackerman, this looks amazing!! I have 2 quick questions:
1. Is there a Pay-What-You-Want option that starts from $0?
2. Can I embed this as a "Buy Button" on another website that triggers this checkout as a popup?
Feature request:
- I'd really love to see a no-Zapier-required way to automatically redirect someone to a URL link!
Thank you so much for your hard work on this.
What tools do you recommend to no-coders to deliver orders through a payment link? (For example I use a payment link to sell a PDF and I need it to be automatically delivered to the client)
Nice work, thank you so much!
@jacinto_fleta PriceBlocs has an integrated way for you to attach a file to a Stripe payment link. Here's a test demo for you to try: https://priceblocs.com/test/link...
After a successful checkout, we'll email you a secure download link for the attached file
This looks awesome. I have two questions,
1. why don't payment link supports Redirect Links or Custom Thanks Message?
I guess its important as once the payment is completed, it does nothing.
Either it should redirect to a custom page (similar to normal checkout with #payment id)
And should also provide an option to view a message on how to proceed next.
Is this in the plan?
2. you mentioned it can be embedded to website, but when I tried using a normal , it throws error saying checkout should be in top frame.
I checked to see the docs, but nothing found.
Thanks a lot.
@surjithctly in the meantime, I've extend payment links with some advanced functionality including custom redirects. Here's a live demo of that which will redirect to this comment on either success / fail. Check it out and let me know if that helps!

Congrats on the payment links launch! This is huge for Stripe x NoCode 🙌
One question though, a huge frustration that I had with Stripe Checkout (the other NoCode Stripe solution), is that it DOESN'T search existing customers in your account, instead it creates a brand new customer each time regardless of whether or not they already exist.
So especially when dealing with accounting systems connected, sales tax, etc. Having 2/3/4 of the exact same customer each with a different purchase doesn't bode well.
Is this fixed with Payment Links? Or will the same issue arise treating each new visit as a totally new session? Because if so, that's the #1 reason why our team and most teams that have repeat customers can't use this.
Curious to hear and keep up the good work!

Today, we’re launching Stripe Payment Links — a no-code way to create payment pages in just a few clicks with the Stripe Dashboard. Share your payment link directly with customers, tweet it out, put in your Instagram bio, generate a QR code, or even embed it on your site! Here’s a payment link to try out and buy a sticker from Stripe: https://buy.stripe.com/dR6cOd9RJ...
@joshuaackerman Please Josh, when are you going to open Stripe to Nigeria and other African countries? I though your partnership with Paystack was going to make that possible.
This is a super handy feature. Please remember the dynamic amount option too.
buy-stripe-domain/paylinkuniqid?amount=245&cur=USD 😉
Will be then able to recommend to a lot of small businesses.
@joaquim_ley@joshuaackerman Would be cool if this link was right in my dashboard. I was hunting around for it just now and never would've thought to look under Products. I'm currently on the "Create Payment" page, but that's not what I was after.
Also, the ability to collect a bit of additional info from the payment so I don't have to match it up elsewhere in my system.
@joaquim_ley@rossdcurrie I hear ya! We'll be revamping the Dashboard soon — I think you'll really like the redesign. And thanks for the feedback, re: collecting additional info. What additional data would you like to collect?
@joaquim_ley@joshuaackerman Custom form fields so I can sell digital products. Eg with BrutalTeardowns I'd replace my current form with a link to Stripe. This will build confidence with end consumers that the payment processing is happening entirely on Stripe's end... but I'll still need to collect a few things from the customer in addition to Name and Email
How does a client cancel a recurring monthly subscription if you are a service-based business? Do they need to create a stripe account to cancel subscription or does the business owner have to do it for them?
@romanarellano I've come up with a no-code solution for this so that you don't have to write a custom integration with the billing portal. I've extended Stripe payment links with an ability for customers to unsubscribe directly from their email receipt in one click. So you get all the power of Stripe payment links and billing plus a super easy way to allow customers to manage cancelling their subscription. I have some docs here which describe how it works. It's free to use! https://priceblocs.com/docs/cust...
Hey @joshuaackerman - amazing job to you and the team. I had a quick question, is it possible to actually change the logo of the form per link? Say for example I have multiple brands that I want to provide payment links for but all under one entity - how does that work?
Best,
Kareem
@karoomi Thank you for your kind words!
You can customize the branding of your Payment Links here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/set...
Your branding and logo can't be customized on an individual Payment Link basis yet. This is something we're thinking about. For now, you'll want to create multiple Stripe accounts if you'd like to create Payment Links with different branding. Will keep you posted when we make this simpler!
@joshuaackerman Sounds good! When considering enablement of different branded payments links I see a lot of synergy with other Stripe products like Connect & Billing. (Ex. using unique payment links per connected account!)
@ghawesomepour You can sell one product at a time via Payment Links today. And your customers can adjust the quantity of that product they'd like to sell.
If you'd like to sell multiple products on a single Payment Link, you can create a new product via the Stripe Dashboard that's a combination of the two, and then sell that combined product via a Payment Link.
@ghawesomepour@joshuaackerman Can you share any insight as to why the development process at Stripe works this way? Why are initial releases of new features always so limited?
@ghawesomepour@joshuaackerman would love to have it be an option - so they can choose if they want to add on versus a combo/bundle. Is that possible? Or on the horizon?
@ghawesomepour PriceBlocs has a way for you to add multiple individual products to a single Stripe payment link. Here's a demo: https://priceblocs.com/test/link.... We've also been thinking to about how to extend Stripe's functionality to have optional add-ons as part of a pre payment link checkout UX. Will reach out when theres a beta to try
Definitively it's something we would like to use in Contacts Inbox
One question @joshuaackerman: what happens if several payments (through differents links) are carried out with the same email? Is a new instance of a customer created every time (as it occurs in Stripe Checkout) or the customer is always the same (identified by the email)?
@joshuaackerman@darsoftdev theres no linking of customers across sessions unless the checkout session is initialized with a stripe customer id. Currently, Stripe payment links don't support either static assignment to one customer, or dynamic assignment through query params. So currently you will get a duplicated customer for every checkout. I've ran into this issue too, and have found it annoying, so I fixed it! I've extended Stripe payment links with some advanced functionality to perform a dynamic customer lookup based on query string params. No more duplicate customers! It's pretty great. Here's a live demo in test mode:
