@bentossell @patio11 Still seems restricted to me? Tried to sign up and was told that I'd get an email within two weeks with their decision. Thoughts?
@macconnollyco @patio11 yeh you're right, it is still request access but they get back really quick... what I meant was that last time the people allowed in was very limited.
Request access though, its worth it!

Hoping to get a local Bermuda charity signed up to it soon to facilitate local fundraising efforts.

not doing the annoying investor thing but because we were just about to use Clerky before seeing Atlas, next to the the network whats the main differentiator ?
@adhambad Atlas is focused on making it easy to start an internet business: along with incorporation and a Tax ID, you'll get a business bank account with SVB (and can request a US debit card too), a Stripe account so you can start accepting payments around the world, up to $15,000 in AWS credits, and access to legal and tax advice.
Just started our Atlas journey 4 days ago with Storyheap.com. Really excited to see how it goes! So far I'm pretty impressed.

Like a lot out there, I'm a part of the Stripe Atlas community and in my case, everything (incorporation, bank account, EIN) happened at a magic pace and that too at half the price quoted by other similar ones supporting foreign entrepreneurs incorporate C-Corp in the US. You'll also get free access to the AWS Business Essentials and AWS Technical Essentials training (normally $600 each), 80 credits for Self-paced labs, and up to $5,000 of AWS Support Credit toward premium AWS Business Support.

Until they support LLC and S-Corp formation, does anyone have recommendations for similar services that do support those less-intense structures?

We used Atlas for our online gift cakery, NotPie, and found the process to be mostly smooth and by far the best way to hit the ground running! The updates with the banking should make it even dreamier for entrepreneurs. If you're legit, I've got an invite code to share.

That said, if you're watching Stripe peeps, your carousel scroll rate is faster than any human has ever been known to read. Small detail, but quite a frustrating UX either way.

We started working with Stripe Atlas 5 months back. Amazing support and great community. Taylor Francis, Patrick McKenzie and others are always ready to roll up their sleeves to help you when needed. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to build a company incorporated in the U.S.
Is it possible to get an Apple dev organization a/c for Stripe Atlas companies? Since Apple asks for and validates phone number & billing address to be US one when applying? How do the current Stripe Atlas companies deal with this?
@iwizardabhi A number of our companies have gotten set up on the App Store. Mostly it's a matter of submitting their documentation to D&B; we've heard reports that it was helpful to contact appdeveloper@dnb.com to explain your particular situation. You can attach your certificate of incorporation. Apparently, it’s quite a quick process after that. You may need a US phone number, but you can use a Skype or Google Voice number in this case.
(One of the reasons we have forums is so that our companies can assist each other with this sort of thing and so we can help them on it.)
If there are people from India who have already joined Atlas, please connect. We already have a invite from Stripe, have some questions around India and US compliance.

I don't have enough praise for this. I tried it when it came out for foreign companies, I thought it was brilliant and I still do.
Starting a company isn't trivial business and I'm glad someone is letting founders focus on value, rather than on bureaucracy. Congratulations!
I got my incorporation confirmation an hour back.
It took less than 10 hours after I signed the documents, to get my bank account opened and the company incorporation was done. In India, it would at least take a month to complete the entire process.

Can someone share a little bit more about the major differences between Stripe Atlas and Clerky? Am looking for incorporation primarily and wanted to better understand the benefits of each.

@antonabramov According to Atlas docs (https://stripe.com/docs/atlas#ca...), starting a company with operations in Russia is unavailable at the moment.
@antonabramov To service clients from Russia in rubles seems blocked forever. But other markets probably need to try...
I just used Stripe Atlas for my new Company, the experience was amazing!
The best part was the customer support; the state of Delaware initially denied our incorporation because its called HackerFleet, they were afraid of the "hacker" part.
Stripe support was like, "Hey, we've never seen this happen before, but we are explaining to them that you are not in fact the nefarious type of hacker. No worries, we got your back."
