I don't know why but ASX is pretty secretive with their data 😅
Unfortunately, neither of our main (quote) data providers support the Australian Stock Exchange and, from our research, it seems that even the 3rd party data vendors of ASX require commercial license agreements ($$$) for EOD data.
We are in a funding round tho, we plan to cover every exchange (starting from EOD) when we close the round! 🚀🎉

We are beyond excited to announce the Product Hunt launch of Stox, the global multi-asset investment tracker for the masses!
We started our journey in late 2019 because of the frustration we had with tracking our various investments, especially equities. We have identified multiple shortcomings in current solutions such as;
- (very) Poor UX
- Single geographical market focus
- Single asset type focus
- Too technical features with little benefit for the everyday investor
- Slow and clunky
- Ad-ridden or forced subscription
- Designed for desktop
We can’t say we were shocked when we found out that most of our (non-finance professional) network had the same pains. In the end, how many people actually read through hundreds of pages of SEC filings?
We wanted to create an experience better and more fun than any other available solution including the brokerage apps themselves; directly focused on the growing horde of retail investors! We think that we did something right considering our 4.9 App Store rating from over 150 reviews.
As a bootstrapped startup with no marketing budget, we have grown to over 20,000 downloads and 3,000 MAU in one year from our June 2020 launch and recently introduced our subscription packages which we have meticulously crafted, real-world usage features that has one focus; to show even the most complex data as a simple to understand graph, gauge, or list.
Currently, Stox allows the tracking of global equities in over 25 markets and over 1000 crypto projects, all in the same portfolio. We have finalized our data partnerships for mutual funds, precious metals, fx and commodities and, will introduce them in the following months! However, Stox won’t stop there. Bonds, real estate, NFTs, secondary market crowd-funding assets and more; we will continue to add more and more markets, asset types and tools to be the one-stop-shop to track and discover any asset you have that can be bought and sold.
We only use data from the best of the best providers including iex cloud, Benzinga, Coin Gecko, Intrinio and more. What’s even better is that the core functionalities of Stox, an intuitive, responsive, global multi-asset portfolio tracker will always be ad-free and free.

Been using this product for a while, and can't recommend it enough. As trading becomes more mainstream, the platforms become so diversified it's become hard to keep track of all my trades, even for a small fry like me. It's like trying to keep track of my Netflix, Amazon, HBO etc subscriptions, except with stocks and crypto... nightmare.
Stox is not only a super slick interface, but has all the features I need to track whatever meme I've decided to throw money into this week. Can't wait to see what @baran_ozmen and the team have in store for the future!!

I've been using Stox since a while now. Simplified my day to day tracking by a big margin. Do you have an intention to add options support as well in near future ?

@kaan_alincak Thank you very much Kaan! We are working on options support. It is considerably more tricky as the orderbook is way deeper compared to just showing a price. As always, we are working on an ux that will be understandable by anyone who is able to trade options on Robinhood. We are hoping to release this before NYE :)
Easiest way to track my portfolio. I used to have two different apps for crypto and stokes. With stox I can track both of them. Thx guys ❤️

Huge congratulations on the PH launch guys 🎉 I have been following Stox since their inception and their journey has been incredible; unbelievable team and an all round fantastic product. Tracking my investments (intelligently) has never been so easy and seamless. Also, I'm sure you will fall in love with their UI/UX. P.S. You are not ready for their merch, I promise you!
