Whether you're into the music, podcasts, or both, the Miniplayer is your go-to. It delivers a balanced experience, catering equally to both video and music content.
This is a super slick new way to easily control Spotify on desktop. It handles music videos, podcasts, and other video content — and fluidly transitions between several different layouts.
Watch this space as Spotify edges into Youtube territory with an increased focused on music videos as a Premium perk!
@chrismessina nice feature but in terms of usability/purpose I'm a bit confused... Spotify has an amazing feature which is the synchronization of web and mobile so if I want to change track I often use the mobile just to avoid leaving the screen I'm working at and get distracted, but mainly what I use even more is my headphones buttons to change track or pause.
This could be a better feature if the mini player was more like a mini search bar that I would type a song or a podcast and show based on my preferences (favorites or playlists) a few set of options - like no more than 3.
Oh wow reminds me of using Winamp back in the day 😄 It took me a while to understand that I could resize the window "normally" instead of having some sort of toggle to cycle between the different sizes though!
Let me try this right away! @chrismessina 🔥
