Hi Product Hunt! We are back once more! At a time when we are seeing lots of companies attempt to push their workforces back to the office, here at Spot we are more bullish than ever on remote work. By using the right tools, companies can achieve the best of both worlds: the culture and engagement of an in-person office as well as the cost efficiencies and productivity boosts that comes from working from home. That's why we are super excited to announce our latest iteration of Spot. We have been busy the last couple of quarters working on features to make the remote employee experience better than ever. Many of these feature were driven directly by customer feedback and the experience of workers within the more than 30,000 virtual offices that have been created: πŸ“† Spot Meetings - This release finally brings the native calendaring integration that everyone has been asking for! You can now schedule meetings within Spot directly from Google Calendar. Meeting rooms within Spot can also be equipped with intelligent panels that shows upcoming meetings and room activity (the digital equivalent of a Zoom-Room!). πŸ“ Whiteboarding & Apps - Bring back impromptu hallway whiteboarding sessions with the best-in-class whiteboarding experience. Easily create and share as many whiteboards as you want on any panel, surface, or room. These whiteboards are fully featured with flow-chart capabilities, undo/redo, and many other advanced features. This release also brings many other apps such as polls, timers, and a whole lot more. 🧠 AI-Drive Space Design - How can you release something on Product Hunt these days that doesn't involve AI?! We have integrated some of the latest in generative AI technologies to make space customization more powerful than ever. Users can easily customize the textures, images, and other aspects of the space through natural language. Want an exposed brick wall? Simply ask for it. 🐞 Bug fixes & core enhancements - We have spent lots of time improving the core experience to create the best virtual office experience on the market. These things include performance enhancements, auto-opening the desktop app, tons of new assets and items, floorplans, and a whole lot more. We have built a special space just for this launch. Come chat with us now here https://spotvirtual.com/@spot-co... and experience Spot first-hand or leave us your feedback below, we'll be here all day to answer your questions! Cheers, Gordon

I really like that you're finding new creative ways to connect people in the workforce despite being remotely located. There are a number of reason why remote work is great, but human connection is not one of them. Glad that you're helping people feel more connected to each other and are helping build office relationships despite not being centrally located. Super cool stuff that really moves the needle in my opinion.
Graham Ralston
@cjries Thank you for the thoughtful message and understanding what we are trying to accomplish. We all need human connection -- and we are focused on making people's lives better when they are separated from their communities. Would love to connect with you in Spot and hear more about your remote work experiences.
Heleana Grace
As someone who always needs to note down or draw my ideas for the team, the whiteboarding feature sounds particularly awesome to me! 😊 We do have team members working remote so this would be an interesting product to try. Congrats on the launch!

Congratulations on the 3.0 release of Spot! @spotvirtual is truly amazing. It's the world's only web-based 3D, real-time, interactive virtual space platform. It's highly productive and perfect for work, training, events, fairs, festivals, parties, and casual gatherings. There are so many features that make it 3D and productive interaction on the web. Once you try it, you'll never use any other platform. If I could buy shares in Spot right now, I would! We are currently serving a large number of schools, businesses, and public organizations in Korea, and everyone is very happy. We can't wait for you to try out this irreplaceable platform. @spotvirtual @gordon_hempton

I have been using Spot since Spot1.0. The advantage of Spot is its simplicity. Although Spot is English-based, there are many users in non-English speaking countries like Korea, which shows how user-friendly it is. Spot continues to evolve, with productivity tools being added as in-app features. For example, the whiteboard and recently, an image generation AI. With just internet access, we can create our own virtual office just for our team, without any hassle. The community for Spot users is also available, allowing us to receive support from the Spot team and share and communicate with other users. The weekly "Shared Office with Spot" on Wednesdays also offers an opportunity to network with diverse individuals.
Graham Ralston
@contenjoo Thank you for your partnership and continued support! We are happy you are part of the Spot community since "Spot 1.0"! You build great community and create innovative spaces :)
