What an amazing and original idea! Hearing from tech leaders and investors can often feel the same after so many podcasts, fireside chats, interviews, etc. You added a fresh new take to it and it's so much more fun and engaging to hear from them (and you!) for such interesting perspectives! Keep it up -- can't wait to see who's up next!

@jason_wong12 Have you ever seen 'Hot Ones' a Youtube series where they interview celebrities while eating progressively spicier hot wings? It seeded the thought that there must be a better way to have tech interviews to make them more fun and authentic. Video games just seemed fun an accessible as I tested many ideas!
@trae_knight Kicking off with Roblox for this first season, but there are so many opportunities. Keen on adding a bit of higher stakes to the games / conversation and to expand the audience.

I started Juan on One because I yearned to meet the real investors and entrepreneurs behind the camera and microphone. The world of tech and investing has become more transparent thanks to people like @harrystebbings and I'd like to help you meet the real people building and investing in our future via Juan on Ones.
Juan on One takes listeners to an authentic, entertaining experience by interviewing investors, entrepreneurs, and operators WHILE playing a video game. Gaming experience is NOT required. Video games are just a perfect medium to truly meet people when they are not relying on canned responses. It's an authentic view I hope will entertain and educate.

This is great! So much more relaxed than most fireside chats, and enticing for the interviewee too. I'd be interested to hear from entrepreneurs early in their journey and learn about how they got off the ground.

You mention Hot Ones being an inspiration and I definitely see the parallel. They have 10M+ YouTube subscribers which is impressive in itself - but the engagement that they get is second to none. There's something about multitasking that makes interviewing more vulnerable and adds more value to the listener!
I can't wait to see how JuanonOne evolves - for now, I've got some catching up to do on today's episode!
