@zinovii_z How it handles more nuanced conversations like 1:1s or strategy sessions — does it adapt tone and output depending on the speaker?

Hi @angie_jane ,

Great question — thanks for asking!

Yes, Spellar AI handles nuanced conversations like 1:1s or strategy sessions really well.

It automatically detects each speaker, so all insights and action items are properly attributed.

The AI is flexible and adapts to different meeting formats — whether it’s a quick sync, deep-dive strategy call, or a personal 1:1.

It captures what matters most in each context — without overwhelming you with unnecessary details.

We're continuously improving the way it understands structure and priorities, so you always get useful, clean output 🙌

Zinovii Zubko

@angie_jane Yes, as Vladyslav mentioned, we have smart detection of the speakers, which we use to build precise summaries and analyses of meetings. It would be great to hear your feedback. Thank you!

Hi Product Hunt! 👋

Vladyslav here — part of the Spellar Team.

We’re incredibly excited to finally share this new version with you all.

This launch has been months in the making. We rethought how AI should assist in meetings — not just as a note-taker, but as an adaptive, context-aware partner.

The new AI Modes and Smart Presets were scoped directly from real user pain points — helping people get value faster without needing to fine-tune prompts or settings every time.

And yes, cross-platform support and deep integrations were a huge priority from day one — because tools should fit around your workflow, not the other way around.

We’re proud of what we’ve built, but even more excited to hear how you’ll use it. Thanks to everyone here on PH for being such a supportive, insightful community 🙌

Let’s make meetings actually productive again 💬✨

@vladyslav_sakharov I’m so proud of the work we made to make this release happen 🚀
Danyil Pichkovskyi

👋 Hey Product Hunt!

I'm Danyil from the Spellar team — and today’s a big day for us.

We’ve just dropped a completely reimagined version of Spellar — designed to go beyond traditional AI note-taking and truly elevate your meeting experience.

Instead of a one-size-fits-all assistant, we built Spellar to be context-aware, adaptive, and actually useful out of the box. It’s not just smarter — it’s more human in how it supports you across different meeting types.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Dynamic AI Modes — Whether you're in a strategy call or sprint retrospective, Spellar adjusts how it helps — no manual tuning needed.

  • Prebuilt Smart Presets — Jump into your meeting with the right AI setup instantly. Just pick a preset and go.

  • Truly Cross-Platform — Use Spellar seamlessly on Web, Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Everything syncs, so you’re never out of step.

  • More Integrations, Less Friction — Plug Spellar into your existing tools with ease. Our webhook support lets you automate summaries, recordings, and more.

What matters most to us? Making sure AI works for you, not the other way around. This release is packed with improvements driven by real user stories — and we’re only just getting started.

Would love for you to try it out and tell us what you think. Your feedback will shape where we go next.

Let’s make meetings feel less like a chore — and more like progress. 💬

Zinovii Zubko

@astralhorse your contribution to our web platform is undoubtedly invaluable. Keep it up! 🙏

Supa Liu

Spellar looks like a breath of fresh air in the meeting assistant space! Love that it’s native, bot-free, and supports any language—plus the seamless exports to tools like Notion and Miro are a huge win.

@supa_l Thank you! 🙌 It means a lot to us 😊

Zinovii Zubko

@supa_l Yeah, many of our users also like to connect their Craft. Curious, what document tools are you using - Notion/Craft/Docs? Or anything else?

Supa Liu

@zinovii_z Personally, I prefer using Notion, but for certain work scenarios, Docs is more commonly used.

Zinovii Zubko
@supa_l that makes sense! Many of our users find Miro integration pretty valuable. Btw, in 1.6.0 we released webhooks, so you can send your recorded meetings and generated summary to any tool in your workflow 👌
Salim Dabanca

I loved the Spellar's design!! As a creator who made AI Note Taker app 'Notato', I would say this is the first product I share my comment. I'm really stunned of how good experience Spellar has!

I also applied as Product Designer to join Spellar's team. Please consider me as who has a burning desire to help you guys!

With Love!

Excited to see this Spellar release go live, packed with usability improvements!

The updated Copilot modes and meeting summary presets make recording and reviewing meetings much smoother. No need to tweak settings each time – just apply a preset and go.

This release focused on clarity and common user flows. The interface now feels lighter, faster, and more intentional. Copilot interactions are cleaner, and everything feels more natural across different meeting types.

Proud to contribute to such a product – and to do it with such a focused, driven team.

Would love to hear your thoughts!

Zinovii Zubko

@serhiikaras This launch wouldn't have been possible without our sleek design, so kudos to you! 🫶

Manu Goel
Launching soon!

Looks good ! Could be very useful for new language learners too!

@manu_goel2 Thank you for your support!😊

Zinovii Zubko

@manu_goel2 thanks, it's really appreciated!

Sofiia Kunakh

Love the concept of Spellar! Real-time tips during a meeting sound incredibly helpful for staying on point and confident. And the language proficiency feedback is a huge bonus for anyone speaking in a second language.

How do you ensure the real-time suggestions are subtle enough not to be distracting during a live call? Huge congrats on shipping this! 🎉

Zinovii Zubko

@sofiia_kunakh Great question, Sofiia! Thanks so much for the kind words and congrats! 🎉

We've designed the real-time tips to be noticeable yet subtle, appearing contextually to assist without distracting. Think of it as a gentle nudge! We're also working on more user controls for this.

So glad you see the value in the language feedback too! What are your initial thoughts on how you might use Spellar? We'd love to hear more! 😊

dereknewsom

I'm very new to Spellar, but so far it's off to a great start. I used it for 1 full day yesterday and I'm pretty impressed with the results. I've tried several other meeting notes tools and they all have their rough edges. I think Spellar balances things quite well. For starters, no bots to be added to a meeting which is great. You can also toggle the depth of note taking you want and the notes that get produced are actually pretty detailed and helpful. I've used several other note takers where the output summaries and tasks were all kind of fluff. The summaries and recommended action items with Spellar were broken down into categories and quite detailed. I also like that I can jot down comments while a call is running that then effect the notes that get outputted later.

I did have one question, under any circumstances will you email someone else that I'm on the call with to show them the Summary Notes of that call? I've been a long time user of Krisp.ai, but it annoyed me that it kept trying find ways to send attendees of meetings my AI Summary notes. It felt like an unwanted advertisement of their app to people I was meeting with.

Zinovii Zubko
@dereknewsom thanks for your feedback, it’s really appreciated! Regarding emails - Spellar focus on your personal productivity and we respect your privacy, so platform only sends email with the summary to you, not other participants. We might release feature of sending your summaries to others in the future, but it’ll be definitely very explicit and disabled by default, so users will have to enable it implicitly.
Nikita Vasyliev

Great app, saved me lots of time by visiting the training sessions with the team. That way I could simultaneously get 2 things done - provide the knowledge for the colleagues and create the beautiful and well written documentation of the processes explained on the training. Spellar team, thanks!

@nikita_vasyliev thanks for your feedback 🫶

one of the best site i like it very much.

The Smart Presets are just chef’s kiss for anyone (me) who’s spent too many minutes before a call fiddling with settings instead of, you know, actually preparing for the meeting. Click, set, go. That’s my kind of workflow.

As a product photographer, I’m often jumping between shoots, editing, and client calls. sometimes all in the same day. 😅 Spellar has been such a helpful little sidekick. It joins my meetings, takes notes for me, and somehow knows the difference between a quick client check-in and a full-on feedback session. I love that I can use it on my laptop at home or my iPad when I’m editing in a café. It just fits into my workflow without getting in the way. One thing I’m wondering — would it be possible to create custom presets for more niche creative calls? I’d love to set one up just for moodboard reviews!
Zinovii Zubko
@eugenia_volga thanks for your kind words. Yes, we release presets in 1.6.0 version, which is exactly what you’ve described - giving our AI more context to generate precise summary and follow up actions 🔥

It's a pretty cool app — I've been using it during my calls. I love how it flags the 'fillers' as I speak. Seems it's still in beta but overall it's a very cool idea and i'm curious to see how it will evolve.
