Hi Product Hunt. 👋
My name's Rosie and I’m a designer at MetaLab.
A while back, my team and I began to notice that representation was seriously lacking when it came to photography used for design mockups. For too long, many in our global community have been underrepresented and we felt it was time to do something about it.
After a bit of research, we found Nappy—a company on a mission to break down stereotypes and improve representation for Black and Brown people. We teamed up to create a new collection of photos featuring hands of different shades, shapes, and sizes.
‘All Hands’ is a set of 25 photos, and several layered PSDs, that make it easy to create mockups of designs on devices. As you’ll see, we wanted All Hands to be more about simple skin tone. We intentionally chose models that also celebrate gender fluidity, age, and body positivity.
