👋 Hi PH, Ch Daniel here, cofounder of Simple.ink
We're back at it again with some more 🧡 for the Notion community: a 100% free tool that many beta testers already love
🤔 The problem + our philosophy
• You can set an emoji as a Notion page's icon. But...
• There are other icons you might wanna add.
• Most of the icons out there require: a download, drag-and-drop, "oh no wait wrong file", "ah snap, not transparent background, dark mode is messed up", blah blah blah 🤯
To put it shortly: headache.
🛠 The solution
The solution is the Simple.ink way:
1. Click an icon
2. Paste it → it just works ™
That's it. We've tried simplifying as much as possible the whole process.
🎟️ Top benefits
• Instant-results search bar
• Live, editable colours
• Edit thickness + size
• COMING LATER: Animated icons + other categories

😸 Feedback?
We're very very curious to hear your feedback and hey... as always, this is made with 🧡 for the Notion community. It's 100% free so... give it a try! Let us know how we can make it better for you.
@csaba_kissi Hahah, yep Csaba, Tablericons served as a point of inspo for this - even credited you in the guide (https://www.simple.ink/guides/fr...) where we mention TablerIcons*

Thanks so much sharing @chddaniel — this is great stuff!
Would you be able to add an anchor link to the actual search, so we can bookmark that and jump straight to the search?
For automation purposes, it would also be really cool if there was an API that could be leveraged to use a keyword, returns a single or an array of results and parameters to set the thickness of the lines, size of icon, color, etc. That's maybe too much to ask, but thought it'd be cool to mention it. Thanks again! I'm a fan—and already user!
@leo_at_zapier What's your Twitter handle Lio? Would love to follow you given the ideas you've shared here 🤣
Those are super cool ideas and I've noted them down. What would you use the automation API for? I can imagine it happening for sure - we have a few ideas of what comes next for this product, as we want to focus on it, and those are useful functions.
@chddaniel oh, weirdly as it may sound: I'm not on Twitter! I generally don't use social media, but I do love the Producthunt community.
The API could be leveraged to retrieve/create an emoji and then potentially be used when creating a page: https://developers.notion.com/re... with that emoji. Alternatively, you can add images in Airtable records and use these emojis as a visual differentiator. Maybe lead tracking, LTV of clients, etc.
Wherever an image/emoji can be used, it could be retrieved by the API, which may be niche, but ultimately really cool when available.
