@hnshah Thanks for hunting us and giving the opportunity to hear the feedback of the community. It will be immensely useful to improve SignEasy for Gmail in future.
@kristofertm Thanks and we're glad you liked it. You might also like our Request Signature feature on the Web application, which lets you get documents signed by other remote parties.
Per @ourielohayon and others, I've been using HelloSign's chrome extension to do this in Gmail for ages as well. I can't really see any difference with this.
@_jacksmith One of the cool things you will surely like is the ability to send a link to your smart phone for capturing your signature, called "Sign Via Mobile" feature. This avoids the painful mousepad or track pad based Signature capture on a desktop/laptop. Then the signature will appear in the webapp or SignEasy for Gmail's document editing session for you to drag and place it where you like in the document. @spatro same as @markgustav I actually prefer to just upload a transparent background png image and use that as my signature image (scan a piece of paper). usually more natural than signing on a phone screen as well
Hello Product Hunt! I am Sunil Patro, the Founder & CEO of SignEasy. We’ve been around for a long time as a mobile-only solution to sign and send documents online in minutes. Off late, some of you might have even spotted us in the Apple Demo devices at the Apple retail stores and seen us in Apple's iPad campaign over last summer. Few months ago, we introduced a web application as well, making SignEasy accessible from both mobile and desktop, thus bringing the best-in-class eSignature experience for consumer and SMBs to all platforms.
We are excited to bring out SignEasy for Gmail - our new Chrome extension that enables you to sign any documents received as attachments in Gmail and send them back, without ever leaving the Gmail experience. It essentially makes the signing experience more seamless, reducing the back and forth hassle between Gmail and the signing process. We believe it’ll help you get over the pain of print-fax-scan cycles, as well :)
I am around with my team and will be glad to answer you questions and hear your feedback. Feel free to hit us up!
And btw, we have some love to give back to the PH community. Redeem the code PRODUCTHUNT at https://app.getsigneasy.com during signup to get a 60-days free trial of SignEasy Business plan.
@spatro Hi Spatro, just came across SignEasy through PH. Would really like to try the business version, however the promo code is no longer working. Do you have another one?
@kesslerio you can redeem our promo code: FRIENDOFSIGNEASY to get 3 months' business plan for free, on our website during signup or on profile settings page.
@kesslerio We just released a major new feature called Request Signature - the feature will let users send a document for signature to anyone and get it back signed in minutes ! Check it out here : https://www.producthunt.com/tech...

Makes a lot of sense to have this work right through Gmail. Signing documents is always more of a hassle then it needs to be. It usually only takes a few clicks to sign a document so it doesn't need to be a full site. Nice job SignEasy 👍
@danpitrowiski, thanks for the love. We also released SignEasy for Google Drive integration last month. So now Google Drive users can sign documents seamlessly with SignEasy from any browser, not just Chrome.

It'd be great to be apple to upload a signature (e.g. Transparent png). This is how I sign with HelloSign. It's very convenient as I've never been able to do a great screen siggy.
@markgustav Drawing a signature on desktop / laptop's mouse pad or track pad is neither easy nor convenient. That's where uploading a signature (PNG) comes into picture. But there is something even better than that, which is our "Sign Via Mobile" feature. This allows you to send a link to your smart phone for capturing your signature, which then appears in real-time on your document edition session. @ourielohayon Until now, we were focused on our mobile-only efforts for last few years whose success led us to being the only eSigning app ever featured in an Apple commercial and one of the highest rated apps on App Store. Based on our own customers' feedback to bring the similar experience to the desktop, we launched our new Webapp, Google Drive and Gmail integration. You should also check our app on your favorite device, be it iOS, Android or Web. Do give us a try and happy to know your experience. :)
