Bulma Builder is the first such advanced theme editor for the Bulma CSS framework. Using our tool, you can launch the first version of a new template in just a few minutes.
I'm completely in love with Bulma! Great work @dawid_andrzejewski! The new Pistats.io is build with Bulma and it is our go-to CSS framework for all our work.
Hi, everybody!
I am the co-author (or co-maker?) of Bulma Builder.
Bulma Builder is based on a proven technology that we have developed for Bootstrap Shuffle (six months ago the #1 Product of the Day!).
We have adjusted all components and settings to Bulma 0.7.5. If you don't know yet, Bulma is a CSS framework based on Flexbox, and it is used by more than 150,000 developers worldwide.
Because both builders belong to us, all Bulma Builder users automatically get access to Bootstrap Shuffle for FREE (and vice versa). By creating an account in one of these applications, you gain access in both of them:)
I must point out that you do not need to log in to try out our demo!
PS. I'm looking for a creative designer who would like to start with me a similar project for Materialize! Just PM me if interested.
This sounds very promising, I am waiting for my next project to use these.
One question:
How difficult is it to include more sections(example in the pricing plan there are only 3 pricing plans) is it easy to add 4th?
Regarding FAQ: for the first FAQ component, FAQ Answer is wider than FAQ question. That looks a bit odd (for me). It looks fine in the second FAQ component.
@prakis, our team is responsible for the component library. We plan to update it regularly, including new styles. For example, you can check on Bootstrap Shuffle that we support "plain" Bootstrap and Material Design for Bootstrap (both have their own style and component library). PS. I'll check the FAQ section. Thank you
This is great. Can you tell us something about the license? Starting with the free plan.
Can i sell the exported site multiple times .. etc.
Thank you!
@achirilov Hi! Without paid account (so without a paid account at all) you have only a few components and not all customization options. It was created solely to show a demo of the tool, but if you can create in the demo nice and complete template, I encourage you:)
Because, in this version, we are heavily dependent on the basic styles of the Bulma what you export is released on the MIT license. It may change for the future updates where we will create custom UIKits etc.
@dawid_andrzejewski this is great. Bulma is such a great CSS framework, but there are no themes to encourage developers & designers to move away from Bootstrap.
Good luck with the project. I might use the service real soon.
Thank you!
@alex_salmon I worked with @lukasz_kowalski1 for 5 years or more:) Till August 2018. I've posted info about launch on my Facebook & Linkedin, and I hope more my friends working in web-dev/design will see it too:)
@fasih_ur_rehman Hey, we don't use any external dependencies (same as Bulma), so you can't code/use JS libraries online. We created the tool for fast interface prototyping. So our workflow is 1/ drag & drop components from the library 2/ change content 3/ change default Bulma styles & fonts 4/ export and work on the details in your favorite IDE (We don't want to replace your favorite IDE).
@prakis you are right. And to be 100% sure you can open the demo, add some components on canvas, export and verify how the exported structure look ( /public - HTML/CSS, src/ sources, PUG, Scss) we don't add any JavaScript, same as Bulma CSS framework.
Hello, can you release this under a FOSS license for development of the FOSS eco-system? For example, I am merely an enthusiast developing FOSS and would certainly make use of such a tool, but currently I can't because I don't make any money from my FOSS projects. If you had a donation program I'd certainly share some money if I get some though. But my FOSS project needs to exist first to attract donators!
