Every time I'm on the job hunting process, I notice how much time it takes me to find a position that I like, then sit down and fill out the application (thanks LinkedIn for not just being able to pull it all from my profile) and it takes forever. I really wanted there to be a way to hire someone on my behalf that is simply always applying to new positions. Working in the background to make my life better -from a career standpoint. Basically a personal head hunter. With the "great resignation" happening out there and a lot of shuffling careers, I talked with some colleagues and found out there are so many that would take new opportunities...they just don't have the time to hunt for them. ShipJump was born. During deeper research, I found that there are so many options for people looking to upskill, but couldn't find more than a few that brought everything together with an option to pay via an ISA (income share agreement) locking them into having significant skin in the game. Now we have a component that gives us the ability to use ISAs for individuals who cannot/do not want to pay $1,000 a month and we are building a career management platform to help people be more active in growing their professional potential.
