Howdy, PH! Excited to introduce you to Logo, the latest from ShapeFactory. There's plenty of logo builders out there. None quite like this one. We drastically simplified the flow behind creating a logo and built in some intelligence to ensure every output is beautiful. We hope this tool enables a whole new set of builders and makers.

As someone who very often needs a quick logo design I really wanted to like this tool. The quality of the logos, however, is not enough to justify the costs, especially when there are free tools out there such as https://designapp.io/ that do a similar or perhaps better job.

Really love this. Great UX, amazing font selection. Bravo team :)
Jean-Patrick Labouyrie

Would prefer more complex combinations.

Pros:

sleek UI

Cons:

too light

FYI - site not working properly in Firefox 56 or 57 for Mac.

Is there sorcery involved? For fun I punched in CrowdLoot and for the first suggestion it font-matched my old logo... on a site that no longer exists :\ REALLY slick interface btw. I may use it for future projects. Are fonts included with the logo packs?
Chris Edwards
@rossdcurrie no sorcery, just great minds thinking alike! We don't offer the font files with your download pack - you do get every file format and layout variation (as .png and .svg) you would need though. Thanks for checking it out!
Andrew Dumont
@rossdcurrie No sorcery involved, we promise! And unfortunately, no fonts included in the logo packs due to licensing constraints. You can view what assets you get post-purchase here: https://logo.shapefactory.co/fil...

Looks beautiful. Reasonable pricing. Love it.

This looks great, especially as a developer who struggles with design, I always need a slick, cheap logo for products I make on the side. Any chance you could tell how this works? I am trying to understand how unique are the logos generated. I remember using Fiverr for my logo needs and was assured from a high rated seller that the logo made for me was unique. 10 mins on google, I could find the exact copy of that logo...
Jason Donnette
@doutatsu I've been referring to the way we built it as "curated randomness". If I was better at marketing I would probably call it AI. But the logos all have quite a few random elements to them, while staying within some rails. Even real human designers can have a hard time knowing if a design or logo is unique, so it's hard for our system to guarantee it. But using a unique business name and putting your logo in context really helps. One nice thing ShapeFactory Logo can do out of the box is animate your logo, which helps give it some additional uniqueness. All that said, keeping it simple but unique is something we're constantly working to innovate on. We retire and add new layouts and typefaces and icons pretty frequently, to keep the app producing fresh designs. Hope that answers your question, and I think you'll find this a little nicer and custom than most of what you find on Fiverr!

@jasondonnette Your first sentence is what I was looking for. My experience with Fiverr was mostly about some "designers" just ripping off someone else's work. All I want is to get a logo that is unique. It of course could look similar to some others one, but still be unique on its own

I needed a logo in like 10 minutes. Decent font + shape pairing options and all required formats for less than $40. Definitely worth giving a try if you have like 10min to come up with something. Great job!

Pros:

Fast and fairly cheap

Cons:

Can't adjust colors online (Pigment is not enough and limits your capabilities)

Alberto Antoniazzi
This stuff is useful to designers as you can se what kind of logos come up and then you make sure to design something that goes on the opposite way as much as possible.
Joshua Voydik
I always think the logos I design myself are good. Then I realize they suck. It's nice a site like this exists. Will be using in the future. Thanks for making it, makers!
Andrew Dumont
@joshvoydik I'm with ya. :)
Gaurav Sharma

It is awesome. We can get our brand's logo created in minutes :)

Pros:

It is too simple, easy to use

Cons:

None

the best!
Brennon Mobley

I have already bought two logos.

Easy to use.

You will get overloaded with great options which is a good problem to have.

I bought the animation on the second logo I created. Defiantly worth the extra $10.

Pros:

The suggested font types and icons are stellar. Animation feature amazing

Cons:

none

This is the first logo generator I've used that I actually like. The quality of the icons are a step-up from the competition, IMO. Great work!
Saif Al Falah
Only thing that undersells this is its unimaginative name.
Andrew Dumont
Saif Al Falah
@andrewdumont I mean, it's such a nice tool. Why choose such a generic name?
Andrew Dumont
@saifalfalah ShapeFactory is the name of the set of tools. We wanted each tool within that set to be descriptive.
Joshua Voydik
@saifalfalah Genuine question: Does every product/business/service name have to imaginative? I would say no.
Saif Al Falah
@joshvoydik why name at all then? Why does anything need a name at all.
Slavik Fokin
The service seems to be terrific! I will definitely use it for inspiration while working on a new logo

The platform has cool UI design but the application planning is poor.

Just 8 business categories for Logo making? Strange! User Experience is tiresome.

Way better applications are already available as open source. No need for this.

Pros:

Simple UI

Cons:

- Just 8 categories of Business to create Logo

- Navigation is poorly design; Traditional approach

- Better options are available Online!

Constantine Sharandak
Clean, simple, Hasslehoff logo design (sorry, I'm bad at puns)
Ethan Illfelder
How do you get a two-line design?
Jason Donnette
@illfee If you type in two words, eg: "Ethan Illfelder" many of the layouts get two line options. It also works for CamelCase words, it'll try and split some of them on the capital letters.
Miriam Dorsett

It is probably a lot faster to use this over fiverr or create my own, but the cost at the end turned me away!

Pros:

Easy to use

Cons:

to pricey
