With Webrating.net, Real Favorites Don't Need SEO Tricks
WHAT IS THE BEST WEBSITE?
The most visited ones?
The ones with the slickest design?
The ones at the top of search results?
The ones with the most backlinks?
Or maybe the ones that mastered SEO?
For us, the answer was none of the above.
The best websites are the ones people genuinely love.
And yet try searching for them.
You'll find the same generic sites over and over.
The web was starting to feel like an echo chamber.
We wanted to break that.
To build a place for discovering websites people truly care about.
Not what algorithms favor. Not what paid promotions push.
That's how Webrating.net was born.
A public directory, shaped by real people not rankings.
The Problem(s)
When we started, we hit the same wall that everyone else does:
The web is full of “rating sites,” but they all rate commercial activities. We only had free services, but how were we going to get noticed?
Reviews? Paid. Rankings? Sponsored.
SEO tools, analytics platforms, paid backlinks, an ocean.
And we were drowning.
We had built something different.
Something that didn’t quite match anywhere else online.
But no one could find it.
And if they couldn’t find it, they couldn’t love it.
what we do
We try every free opportunity for promotion.
We are trying to explain to Google: we rate free services on our site.
We try to stay away from paid promotions because what we do goes against the current structure, but the tide is taking us there.
We are constantly working to make our infrastructure safer and fairer.
And Now?
At first, it didn't interest anyone, just a blank page, but our editors added a little, a little from the users, and we're still in the early stages. We're still building, and we're eagerly awaiting the great websites waiting to be discovered and the community that wants to discover them.
But if you’ve ever gotten tired of the same websites dominating every search…
If you love discovering hidden gems…
If you believe the internet should be shaped by real users…
Then maybe Webrating.net is for you.
