Why IdolLink Isn’t Just Another Fan App – It’s a home for Idols
Hey
Thanks again to everyone who checked out IdolLink on launch day your support means the world.
I wanted to share a little more about why I created IdolLink, and why this is so much more than a K-pop app or fan space.
⸻
💭 What is IdolLink really about?
IdolLink was born from something personal:
Watching idols especially female idols and Thai GL actresses become targets of nonstop hate, burnout, and online toxicity.
While fans often get safe communities, idols rarely get that same grace.
⸻
🏠 A Home, Not Just a Platform
IdolLink is more than digital content.
It’s a home for idols:
• 🌱 A space where idols can breathe, connect safely, and grow
• 🛡️ Built with mental health, community care, and healthy boundaries in mind
• 🌐 Multilingual-first (English, Korean, Thai) so no one feels left out
• 🎥 Designed for live variety, learning, and anonymous support rooms
⸻
🎯 What’s next?
• We’re preparing select outreach to idols like NewJeans, Thai GL stars, and rising indie artists
• Building a soft launch version for early testers and fan feedback
• Working on moderation tools to create safe spaces by default
⸻
