What helps you write better product tweets? I made a tool to automate mine

Ever stumbled on a phrase or product update and thought: “This would slap on Twitter, but I don’t know how to phrase it?”

That’s exactly what pushed me to build a small tool inside my toolhub — a lightweight AI Tweet Generator that takes your rough idea, topic, or goal... and gives you punchy, context-aware tweet options in seconds.

But here’s the real question:

How do you guys approach writing tweets for your product without sounding either boring, too try-hard, or overly promotional?

This tool was built out of frustration while promoting my own SaaS — I wanted something that helps me speak in the “language of the timeline,” whether it’s for:

* Shipping updates

* Founder reflections

* Indie hacking memes

* Motivational dev posts

* Or just product feature drops

Right now it’s live on my tool platform (ToolRackly) where I centralize various mini-SaaS tools I’ve built or will be adding.

Would love honest feedback on:

  • Usefulness for non-copywriters

  • Any features I should add (e.g. tone selector, emoji toggler, character limit strictness, etc)

  • Would you actually use this before tweeting something?

Also, do you think tools like this help or hurt authenticity in indie/product founder tweets?

Appreciate your thoughts — especially if you tweet for your SaaS and feel stuck sometimes.
