We vibe-coded a cafe discovery app for Mumbai — meet Nook ☕️
Hey fellow builders 👋
A few weeks ago, we decided to have some fun and “vibe-code” an app around something we’re all emotionally invested in — cafés. More specifically, the experience of discovering, loving, and sometimes getting totally let down by cafés in Mumbai.
And that’s how Nook was born. It started as a side project:
“What if you could discover cafés based on your vibe, not just what’s trending?”
“What if Subko (prominent cafe in Mumbai) had its own official group you could join?”
“What if your café journey could be mapped — like a coffee bucket list?”
Nook is Mumbai’s first café discovery + community app.
We’re building it for people who are tired of fake ratings, endless scrolling, and group plans that go: “idk, maybe this place?”
What we’ve built so far:

🧑🤝🧑 Official + fan-led café communities you can join and interact in
🗺️ A personal coffee map — track where you’ve been, save where you want to go
🔐 Built on Supabase + Lovable + Google Maps API
We’re early — building fast, validating faster.
