šŸŽ‰ We hit #4 on Product Hunt! Here’s what happened

Hey everyone,

I’m Alex, solo maker of CoLaunchly, and yesterday I launched it on Product Hunt for the very first time.

I didn’t expect much. My only goal was to get into the top 10.

No team. No prior launch experience. Just me, some code, and a lot of late-night prep.

But we made it to #4 Product of the Day.

And for a while… I was even ahead of Notion. šŸ˜…

A few quick wins:

300+ upvotes

60+ comments

My first paid customer signed up during launch day

Lots of great feedback and visibility

What worked:

  • A live interactive demo made with @Arcade

  • A clean waitlist and onboarding flow

  • Supporting other makers before my launch

  • Showing up and engaging with every single comment

  • Shamelessly posting everywhere I could (and yes, I got a 7-day Reddit ban)

What’s next:

I’m building fast based on your feedback.

Expect a better content calendar, deeper launch plans, and more tools to help indie makers go to market confidently.

If you supported the launch, thank you.

If you missed it, you can still check it out here:

And if you want to leave a review, I’d be super grateful:

Let’s keep building.

Wow, Alex, landing your first paid customer on launch day and shooting up to #4 is incredible! Of all the feedback you received, which suggestion surprised you most, and how are you slotting it into your roadmap? 😊

Alex Cloudstar

@talshyn Absolutely! That was one of the most practical suggestions I got someone asked if they could export their launch plan and calendar to share with stakeholders or their team.

It immediately clicked. I added it to the roadmap, and I’m now exploring PDF and CSV export options. Super useful for teams who need to align on launch tasks.

Did you have a big following/waitlist/email list that you utilized for the PH success?
