We built an AI nutrition tracker, how do you stay consistent?
Hey everyone! đź‘‹
I’m Furkan and one of the makers of Calistant, an AI-powered nutrition companion. We started building it because we were frustrated with how clunky and rigid most tracking apps felt.
We asked ourselves:
- Why is logging food still such a chore?
- Why do most apps make you feel guilty instead of supported?
- And how can AI make the whole experience feel more human?
With Calistant, we focused on:
Flexible macros (because some days just need pizza 🍕)
Multiple logging options: voice, text, barcode, or even a photo
Actually helpful insights, not just numbers
Non-intrusive reminders that nudge without nagging
But we’re still learning — and that’s where you come in.
👉 How do you personally stay consistent with nutrition tracking?
👉 What’s been your biggest struggle or friction point?
We’d love to hear your experiences and thoughts — what worked for you, what didn’t, what you wish existed.
