Tired of News You Can’t Trust? I Built the Solution
Hi Product Hunt!
I’m Gijs, a third-year BSc Artificial Intelligence student entering my final year of university. I’m planning to start my MSc in AI in the fall of 2026. I’ve been programming for about 7 years, and I’d love to share something I’ve been working on.
Two weeks ago the idea was incepted for something new, which I will soon launch on Product Hunt. Today’s news is overwhelming, often biased and not transparent enough. You usually need to read multiple stories to get the full picture, and even then you still might have been faced with false information or bias. Traditional aggregators help a little by collecting sources, but they still leave you to figure things out.
86% of internet users worldwide say they’ve been exposed to fake news, and 86% of those admit they believed it at least once (Ipsos & Centre for International Governance Innovation, 2019)
That’s why I came up with Caught. It collects articles from different sources and uses large language models to synthesize them into a single, neutral, and complete summary. By comparing and combining perspectives, false information and bias is cut down and you’re left with a clean version of what happened.
I’m hoping to hear some early thoughts and feedback before launching the project on here. I’d love to connect and see your projects too. We’re still very early and have only shipped the mvp/prototype, you can try it out on:

Love the UI. Would be lovely to have a list that lets people import a list of their personal news sources as well.
@oladele_tolulope Thanks a lot! We will implement a feature to exclude or include certain news articles later on!
