Starting something solo — and quietly.
I'm a single founder, an introvert with 16+ years of experience in tech. I've co-founded two businesses before, but this time I decided to go solo, not because it’s easier, but because I wanted full creative control and to challenge myself.
Right now, I’m building with limited resources and going through some financial struggles. No team. No budget. Just me, my laptop, and long nights.
I launched a product under a small brand I’m building called Primy. The first app is an AI-powered custom form builder for Shopify — it helps merchants create embedded, native-looking forms without code. It’s not revolutionary, but it’s solid and built with care.
To be honest:
I’m confident in building. I can design, code, ship, and improve.
But when it comes to marketing, I feel lost.
I don’t share my identity publicly.
I don’t feel comfortable being the face of the product.
And I’m bad at putting myself out there.
So far, I’ve tried:
Listing the app on the Shopify App Store
Writing blog posts and doing light SEO
Posting occasionally on Twitter
Reaching out to a few folks
Creating a landing page
But it’s really hard to get new users.
I’ve thought about launching on Product Hunt, but I don’t feel confident. Since it’s a Shopify app, I worry it won’t get much attention here — it’s not a tool for devs or startups, it’s for merchants.
Still, I wanted to share this.
Because maybe someone else has been here, quietly building, unsure how to be seen.
Here’s the app if you're curious:

And here’s a quick video walkthrough I made:
Thanks for reading. I’ll keep building.
