Simple tool to automate business documents — looking for early feedback

I’ve been building a tool that helps automate the process of turning scattered inputs (Excel sheets, PDFs, Word notes, etc.) into polished, professional documents:

👉 Demo here: Click

How it Works:

  • Upload the final document you normally produce (e.g., a monthly report or client deliverable).

  • Upload the raw inputs you usually work from.

  • The system “learns” the mapping, so next time you can just drop in updated inputs and instantly get the new finished doc.

Example: I tested it with a KPI spreadsheet, a staffing note in Word, and a receivables PDF → it generated a clean monthly business performance report in Word.

The publicly deployed version works best with small/medium files right now — but I’d love to get feedback from this community as I refine it to also work for larger files.

👉 Try it out here: https://gridfusion.ai/

Would really appreciate:

  • What kinds of documents you’d most want automated

  • Whether “teach it once, reuse forever” makes sense in your workflow

  • Any must-have features you’d expect before trying something like this

Thanks!

This is nice! As someone who often supports teams with reports and admin docs, I’d say a must-have feature is editable templates..because every company has slightly different needs. I’d also love a clean folder/tagging system, since keeping track of multiple documents can get overwhelming and I’d also look for the ability to make quick edits after the document is auto generated.

@karen_ogunwa Thanks for your comments! I think you mentioned three points:
1) Editable templates - on this one I can say all the templates are 100% editable already. Your own documents are templatized and although it should not be needed, you can download and re-upload the template if you want to change anything.
2) Can you please elaborate on the folder tagging system point. I am not sure what the pain point might be on that.
3) You can absolutely make quick edits after the final document is created even before you download final version. Your edits are auto-used as feedback so the automation does even closer to your expectations next time.
