I launch broken things on purpose.

hey PH

i’m alex, solo builder, launch addict, and chronic breaker of my own products.

for the past year, i’ve been building in public, posting every win, fail, and facepalm on X.

turns out: failing in public is a growth strategy.

painful, but effective.

after 3 flopped launches, i realized the truth:

most indie devs don’t fail because of bad tech.

they fail because they never got real feedback in time.

so i built IndieCru.sh.. a platform where makers can drop their app before it’s “ready”

get testers

get signal

and validate fast

we just hit 400 users.. and today, i’m launching indiecru.sh… on indiecru.sh. (yes, really.)

if you’re building solo or feel like you're shouting into the void, come say hi.

we are also live on PH : https://www.producthunt.com/posts/indiecrush

or just laugh at my mistakes. they’re public.

i launch broken things on purpose

because that’s how we fix them faster

@qurious thank you !

Hi Alex,
This is great. I love the raw honesty and "launch broken things on purpose" energy. As someone who’s also built solo and faced more than a few “why did I ship this?” moments, your story really resonates.

Congrats on hitting 400 users and launching Indie Crush.

Totally agree: it’s not the code that kills most projects — it’s the silence. Getting real feedback before perfection is underrated, and Indie Crush nails that.

Just gave you some love on Product Hunt — wishing you a ton of signal, feedback, and wild growth from here.

P.S. If you or anyone in your circle wants to make smarter investing decisions — like figuring out whether to buy/sell/hold high momentum stocks — feel free to check out Trade Craft. It’s my own “built in public” baby.

Keep launching broken things. It's working.

@andrew_labyrinth this seriously hit home!! thank you

“why did i ship this?” is basically my catchphrase at this point

and you’re so right! the silence is what kills, not the bugs

appreciate the support on Product Hunt, and congrats on building Trade Craft!

love seeing others build in public too! will definitely check it out

let’s keep breaking stuff, fixing fast, and helping each other grow
