I got tired of guessing why visitors weren’t converting — so I built a quick fix

For months I kept tweaking pages, adding features, and rewriting copy without really knowing if any of it mattered. Visitors came and went, and I had no idea why they weren’t converting or what they actually wanted.

I started testing a tiny popup that asked one short, relevant question while someone was on the site. Not a form, not a survey — just a quick check-in. The answers came almost immediately, and they were brutally honest.

In a week I learned more about what was stopping people from buying than I had in the past year of guessing. It changed my roadmap completely.

If you’re building something online, you don’t have to guess. You can just ask.

Here’s what I made → https://www.producthunt.com/products/letzask?launch=letzask

Curious what you think of it — and where it could be improved.

Why were they not converting?

also ~what % of people who see the popup fill them out? (im sure it depends on the quality of the question and what not, but maybe asked differently, what is the highest % conversion of the popup?)
