Hey Product Hunt 👋, I'm Tyler - Building AIBillingDashboard.com

Hey ProductHunt 👋

I'm Tyler, Full-Stack Software Engineer in his 20's who's been in love with programming web and mobile apps since 14-15 years old!

I've been building and shipping a bunch of products recently, but after ~1 week of building, I recently launched (first launch) an MVP for AIBillingDashboard.com.

What I built:

  • A unified dashboard that tracks spending across all major AI providers (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Tavily, Pinecone, Make.com, n8n, HuggingFace, etc).

  • Cost comparison tools that show which models give best value for specific use cases

  • Usage analytics that identify cost-saving opportunities across your AI stack

  • Billing cycle tracking and payment alerts to avoid surprise charges

I'm essentially try to replace the chaotic spreadsheets and custom scripts that I and teams use to track AI spending with something more simple / straightforward.

Additionally, I built this because while AI adoption is skyrocketing, cost management tools haven't really kept pace, is extremely siloed, and/or create new points of failure such as having usage/analytical requests sent out first to track usage before sending out the prompt for completion.

Next steps from here? I really want to redesign a lot of the MVP and would love feedback from the community and/or any AI power users out there!

Anyone else building tools for the AI ecosystem? What cost management challenges are you facing (if any)?

This seems like it could be useful. But I think people who worry about tracking costs across multiple LLMs could a single wrapper API on top of major LLMs, instead of using each one directly.

Maybe it could be useful for businesses that integrate multiple different AI models like both LLMs, vector DBs, image gen. But at that point, why use a tool that only tracks AI usage separately? Wouldn't you want a tool that tracks all of your business spending, AI related or not?

Who are your main competitors?

@andrei_radu3 Hey Andrei, thanks for checking it out!

  • For " I think people who worry about tracking costs across multiple LLMs could a single wrapper API on top of major LLMs", there are current solutions who do just that but they primary focus on the "programmatic client-side library" side that's tailored to developers. The tool is tailored towards to the problems that businesses, such as AI Automation Agencies that use workflow tools such as Make.com, Zapier, and n8n, face tracking usage with code and without.

  • For "Maybe it could be useful for businesses that integrate multiple different AI models like both LLMs, vector DBs, image gen", that's exactly it! But for "But at that point, why use a tool that only tracks AI usage separately? Wouldn't you want a tool that tracks all of your business spending, AI related or not?", that's a great point but would be a great iteration of the service but at the moment I'm trying to focus on a specific niche that is as universal (overall business spending across multiple expense categories).

  • For "Who are your main competitors?", there's not much within the space specifically solving the problem in our way we've noticed so far!
