Habit trackers are boring. Let's fight habits as monsters?

Hey, makers and fellow tech enthusiasts!

I'm an indie developer from China. I've always struggled with traditional habit-tracking apps. They often feel like a chore, and when I fail one day, I lose all motivation.

So, I had a "what if" moment: What if breaking a bad habit felt less like a task and more like a game?

I'm currently building an iOS app based on this idea, tentatively called "HabitMon" Here's the core concept:

- Each bad habit you want to quit (e.g., eating junk food, staying up late) becomes a cute, quirky monster in the app. Think of a "Procrastination Bug" or a "Gluttony Monster."

- Every day you successfully resist the habit, you "attack" the monster, dealing damage and lowering its HP.

- If you give in to the habit, the monster "fights back" or heals itself.

- The ultimate goal is to defeat the monster completely, which symbolizes you've overcome the habit.

Before I go too deep into development, I'd love to get your honest feedback and ideas.

A few questions for you:

- Does this gamified approach sound more motivating to you than a simple checklist?

- What's a bad habit you'd love to turn into a monster and fight? (I'd love some creative ideas!)

- Are there any features you think would be essential for an app like this?

Appreciate any thoughts or suggestions you might have. Thanks for your time!
