Flipping e-commerce: I built a site where buyers post what they want — sellers respond
Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on a side project that turns the usual e-commerce model upside down. Instead of browsing through endless listings, buyers just post what they want — and then sellers come to them with offers.
It’s like a reverse marketplace.
I’m testing it out now and would really appreciate any honest feedback. I just launched it on Product Hunt if you want to check it out:

I’d love to know:
Would you use something like this?
Any red flags or things that feel off?
Any similar platforms I should know about?
Totally open to thoughts, criticism, or questions — I’m still figuring things out.

Really like this approach, Henry. Letting demand lead supply feels like a natural evolution for niche or hard-to-find items.
What types of products or categories have been getting the most traction so far?
@iacop_hafiane Hey Iacop thanks for liking it, tbh I haven't got any users so far, I guess the market is just not there? or I didn't promote enough hence people still don't know about it.

@hokkienmee marketplaces require a network effect, they are only useful when you have enough users on both sides, maybe try sponsoring the first users on the platform?
@iacop_hafiane Yeah I am currently working on that by gaining buyers first
