Firefly - iOS app that corrects your form using verbal and visual feedback

by

Hi! Continuing off of our p/introduce-yourself, where we shared our background, the problem we're solving, and a BTS look at our building process!

Firefly | Fitness is meant to give an alternative option for personal training. Features that we offer:

  • Challenges and workout programs with timestamped badges for proof of completion and milestones - Free

  • Unlimited customizable workout programs by you or AI. You can also freely set your form strictness level (How harshly you want the AI to grade your form) - Premium

To earn a badge, you have to physically work out in front of the camera with proper form (based on your set strictness), making every badge more meaningful!

I created a story-based workout where you start in a room, progress through increasingly difficult levels, and earn badges. I wanted to make the workouts more engaging - Solo Leveling and Lord of the Rings were a hard inspiration! Let me know your thoughts!

Who is this for?

For clarity, this isn’t meant to replace personal trainers but to offer a more affordable and accessible option. We collaborate with trainers to integrate their custom AI trainers with their programs, helping students stay accountable at home.

If you prioritize tracking weights, sets, and calories, this may not be the best fit. Our focus is on reps, form, and accountability, with gamified targets, badges, and challenges to keep workouts engaging. It’s ideal for beginners, those on the move, or anyone seeking a non-judgmental way to stay consistent. It's designed for home and outdoor use, but gym-friendly features are coming soon!

What's different about this 'AI' fitness app?

We built the most reliable pose tracker on iOS, accurately tracking fast human movements for a more precise exercise library. Our custom feedback system gives full control over when and where to trigger corrections. Also, we're the only app offering form strictness settings and exercise customization.

Please exercise safely and would appreciate your feedback!

This looks really cool! I have a home gym set up, and have spent a lot of time on youtube trying to correct my form (esp for compound exercises like squats, deadlifts, etc.). I'm an android weirdo though, so may need to wait for this to be ported over, but definitely want to give this a try if it becomes available.
