Building a privacy‑first symptom and med tracker, looking for feedback
Hey everyone,
I'm a developer who’s watched close family members juggle chronic illnesses. Seeing them manage multiple medications, flare‑ups and brain fog has opened my eyes to how messy and draining the tracking process can be. We tried just about every symptom tracker on the market. Most are either too complicated when your energy is low or they hide the good features behind paywalls, and a lot of them are vague about how they use your data.
A few months ago I started tinkering with a simple tool to try to make their lives a little easier. I’m calling it Sympli. It lets you log meds, mood and symptoms with a single tap and then spits out a clean report you can show your doctor. It’s ad‑free and built around keeping data private. A couple of friends have been testing it and they seem to like it, but I know I still have a lot to learn.
I’d love to hear from this community. If you’ve ever struggled with health tracking apps, what did you wish they did better? What kind of insights would actually help you or your doctor make sense of your day‑to‑day? And if you’d be interested in testing an early version and giving me your honest thoughts, let me know and I’ll send you a sign‑up link in a DM. Thanks for reading. Looking forward to hearing your ideas and feedback!
