Secria is the best encrypted email. Prevent phishing & spam, verify senders, and protect your inbox with post-quantum encryption. Sign up for free today!
We built this because email privacy is broken. Your address gets sold, tracking pixels follow you everywhere, and quantum computers will crack today's encryption.
Secria fixes that. One-click alias rotation, post-quantum encryption, code verification. Zero-knowledge architecture, not even we can read your emails.
2,500 beta users helped us build exactly what people actually need.
@abigail_martinez1 Currently metadata is retained until you delete an email. Then it is retained for 30 days before the entire email content is purged from our servers. We have more advanced compliance levers coming eventually.
Many privacy tools are secure in theory but struggle with usability. How do you ensure that ultra strong encryption doesn’t hinder a smooth user experience? For example can a non technical user get started without having to read a manual?
@sophia_watson3 Absolutely. We make signup as easy as possible. No manual or instructions needed. The majority of the security is handled without the user even knowing it is happening.
@jackson_wells Unfortunately we do not allow connection to third party clients. Our zero-trust model is core to our product and we lose much of our security when connecting to clients outside of our control.
Identity verification through code exchange sounds robust but what happens if someone loses access to their code or accidentally shares it? Do you have a recovery or trust mechanism in place or would that compromise the security model?
@gracebates A user can always copy their code again in their settings on our app. If they lost their code the most that would happen is someone else could verify them as a contact. It would NOT add the other person as a contact to the user. The user would have to add the other person's code as a contact!
@grayson_parker2 Timestamps are always included in the metadata for users. This enables us to show you when emails are received and sent like other clients. IP addresses are only temporarily stored for rate limiting. They are never exposed on the frontend and are not included in internal audit logs or stored permanently.
I love how deeply you’re tackling privacy issues. Rotating aliases is a smart way to fend off spam and prevent leaks. Can users customize or schedule when their aliases rotate or is that something Secria manages automatically?
@matteo_rider Currently it is manual but we offer bulk actions for pro plan users. We have plans to implement scheduled rotations and "self-destruct" aliases that delete on a timer.
Does Secria allow integration with popular email clients like Outlook, Apple Mail or Thunderbird or is it designed to function solely as a standalone platform within its own app?
@nathaniel_cook2 Unfortunately we do not allow connection to third party clients. Our zero-trust model is core to our product and we lose much of our security when connecting to clients outside of our control. However, we are doing our best to keep our UI/UX easy, familiar, and intuitive for our users.
@william_sanchez3 Can Secria be utilized in highly regulated sectors like healthcare or finance where compliance is crucial or is it still too early for enterprise level certifications?
@michael_davies5 We are making a hard push towards enterprise functionality and certifications. Especially with compliance. Our current solution does not offer enterprise capability but stick around, it is coming soon.

Is there a way for businesses or teams to utilize Secria or is it primarily focused on individual or private communication?
@sadie_scott We are working hard on team and enterprise plans that we are looking to launch in the near future!
It’s so refreshing to see minimal data collection what’s your policy on retaining metadata?

This is a fantastic concept. What’s your strategy for onboarding users who aren’t tech savvy?
@amelia_smith19 It's super easy to onboard. Just like any other email client. Simply signup, read the onboarding popup, and get started!

Rotating aliases is a powerful feature do they integrate smoothly with external email clients?

Verification is one-way for each user's code.
How does Secria manage metadata like timestamps and IP addresses?
Is it stripped, encrypted or minimized during transmission?
@grayson_parker2 Timestamps are always included in the metadata for users. This enables us to show you when emails are received and sent like other clients. IP addresses are only temporarily stored for rate limiting. They are never exposed on the frontend and are not included in internal audit logs or stored permanently.
I love the emphasis on privacy. How frequently do the aliases change automatically?
@ayesha_akram4 We appreciate it, you are able to rotate the aliases at any time with just a click!
@ayesha_akram4 Hi Ayesha, currently aliases do not rotate automatically but it is on our todo list to add.
I love the concept. Is your encryption completely open source so that the community can review it?
@jude_gray We will be open sourcing the client very soon!

Identity verification that’s both secure and straightforward. Can users reset or modify their personal codes?
@matthew_phillips4 They change after every use so nobody can use one code that someone else might figure out.
