Hey Product Hunt! My team and I were inspired to build this tool by the old appreviewtimes.com site (IYKYK 😄). Back in the day, the folks behind iOS Dev Weekly published crowdsourced App Store review times there, to help people get a sense for how review times were trending. That site eventually shut down, with the reasoning that issues around long or unpredictable wait times in prior years had been largely solved by Apple.
We don't disagree, but we do still think a page like this is interesting, and perhaps even useful! There are occasional variations in App Store review times, and it’s nice to get a read on current review times across the Apple world. If your recent app submission is taking a bit longer than usual, don’t worry – maybe others have had a similar experience lately. On the flipside, it’s fun to see just how fast App Store review times are trending these days!
One notable difference with this tool versus the old website is that it pulls from actual data on recent app review times, versus crowdsourced estimates.
