So excited to share with you what we've been up to for the past year. Not only Routine iOS provides you with a full-fledged modern calendar on mobile, but it also comes with tasks & contacts management and the ability to take notes. No more switching between your todo, notes and calendar apps! Note that next year, we will launch Routine Android which is now the most requested (and only one missing) platform. Hope you enjoy it. Let us know what you think :)
Jorge Dieguez
Congratulations! I can finally say here is a worthy competitor to Fantastical. I’ll give it a try. My only major drawback is lack of Office 365 and Apple integrations. Do you have a timeline for these?
Julien Quintard
Hey @jorge_dieguez. Office 365 should come in Q2 2024 along with Apple Reminders. Apple Calendar will come a bit later.

This has been my go to choice to organize my day. Routine is quick and clean which helps you get focused on your work or tasks. If you arent using it I totally recomend you to start doing it with routine. Did I mentioned the interface is beautifully clean?
Julien Quintard
Thanks a lot for the nice words @jcmarin .
Frank Denbow
Liked a lot of things with your site, including the believer section (more people need to do it that way). I personally only use an agenda view, seeing a. calendar full with stuff is just anxiety inducing. Some more thoughts here: https://youtu.be/Jfl4Bhw3wEo
Julien Quintard
Thanks a ton @frank_denbow. You should install Routine because it has been designed exactly for what you talk about, to focus on a few tasks per day with the agenda.
Eugene Yarovoii
@jmq amazing launch! We'll try out with my team as soon as possible. Looks great! Followed you on Twitter
Julien Quintard
Thanks a lot @eugeneyarovoii. Do let us know if you need anything.
ILFAT
Sounds cool! Good luck! :) Just one question. You mentioned "Capture all your thoughts in a fraction of a second". Did you mean that you can even add something on calndar using voice?
Julien Quintard
Not yet but it will com @iilfat. What it means is that you can easily collect your thoughts, create tasks & notes but also capture information from your environment (Web articles, chat messages, etc.) and save everything in Routine very quickly.
Ferruccio Balestreri
Such incredible progress in the last couple of years! You’ve built a super impressive product so far and I can’t wait to see what the next years will bring
Julien Quintard
Thanks @frcbls. Same for June :) Always funny to look back!
Jag Singh
Great work, trying it out now! What are the similarities/differences with Notion? Also do you support multiple Google accounts, that don't have calendar privileges assigned to each other?
Julien Quintard
Thanks a lot @jagsingh. We do support multiple accounts (as long as it is Google for now; Outlook coming early next year). As for Notion, the main difference is that in Routine, all information you create/manipulate is organically connected/organized. Notes you take in an meeting are linked to the meeting, which is linked to your calendar, the day the meeting is taking place and the people. This way, you will very soon be able to search through your knowledge base e.g surfacing all the notes of the meetings you attended last week.

It looks like Routine could also fulfill our team's project management needs, right? You should also get the web version up and running soon, haha! Additionally, I'm guessing the iOS version was developed using SwiftUI? And what about Android?
Julien Quintard
Hey @bonvisions. Project management is coming early next year. We do have a Web version already. Yes the iOS app is in SwiftUI. Android will come next year.

Lots of potential with this app. I've been using it as my daily for about a month now and I like it. (I replaced Fantastical.) It streamlines the calendar view and tasks and takes a very opinionated view of how to handle tasks. I've yet to commit to the notes part of Routine since I've been trying to consolidate all my notes in another application (Capacities), but we'll see. Again, liking it a lot and here's to seeing its feature set and popularity increase!
Julien Quintard
Thanks @roger_wong. The notes aspect is very basic for now. In the next 2-3 months, you will see what we've been working on for the past 2 years and everything will fall into place. And you'll be able to stop using Capacities :) (hopefully 🀞)

I'm a Believer :). I was looking for an alternative to Sunsama with a little extra. While Routine is not quite there yet, I really like what they're doing. I use it every day! I'm hoping for tighter integration with Notion and project management tools.
Julien Quintard
Thanks @qpow for your support and belief :) We'll get there. Next year, a lot of things are going to change for the better!

I'm an early adopter of Routine, and quite happy to see where this is going! Keep going Julien + team! :)
Julien Quintard
Thanks a lot for your support @csol .
Edouard PETIT
I've been using Routine for the past two years. The product has grown so much and definitely become my #1 app for managing my work. Congrats to the team for the super quick iterations!
Julien Quintard
Thanks a lot @edouardpetit for your help throughout the years.
Yannick Mathey
Routine has been my go-to for seamlessly organizing tasks, ensuring I never miss a beat for almost 3 years. Thanks to the Routine team for being my second brain! (And please ship the Android app as soon as possible; I feel for users who don’t get to experience its full capacity like I do πŸ˜‚)
Julien Quintard
Thanks a lot for your continued support @yannick_mthy. Definitely one of our very early users :) Android will come early next year.

Impressive launch of Routine iOS, integrating elements of Sunrise, Notion, and Todoist into one super calendar. It's a smart approach to streamline task and project management. I'm curious, though, about how it handles the integration of these diverse functionalities while maintaining a user-friendly interface.
Julien Quintard
Hey @manoj_11. Actually, friendliness of the user interface is our strong suit. That's the #1 feedback that we receive, that the app is beautiful and minimalistic.
Nick Parsons
Well done Julien and team! Routine has become a gamechanger for me in planning and keeping track of my day-to-day work without letting things fall through the cracks.
Julien Quintard
Thanks @nrparsons. Very much appreciated.
Annabelle Hackney
Woah this seems like an awesome tool for freelancers (like me!). I manage so many tasks for clients that all use different project management solutions and switching between all of those (plus my personal to do list) is a headache and a time suck. Definitely going to give this a try! Is the onboarding experience easy?
Julien Quintard
@annabelle_hackney You're exactly on point! Yes the onboarding experience is very easy. Give it a try at https://routine.co/get-started.
Matej Cabadaj
I really like the UI! I think it could substitute my Todoist and get me all things into one place from all the apps! Very well done and wishing you a lot of success!
Julien Quintard
Thanks a lot @matej_cabadaj .
Jonas Kern
