Robo Wunderkind is a modular kit that teaches children the basics of coding and robotics. With just a few color-coded blocks and two apps, kids between the ages of 5-12 can build their own robots and see their ideas turn to life.
The starter kit is a really fun way to get interested in building robots. The app is also pretty easy to use, but the connectivity drop will need to be fixed for a better UX (otherwise a bit frustrating for controlling). I think they have tutorials online as well for additional robots, but haven't gotten to those yet.
Pros:My brother and I figured things out right out of the box. Very encouraging!
Cons:Some instructions can be a bit clearer, but I think they normally train teachers first. Connection between the app & robot could be improved
