Surprisingly, over half of the hosts respond with metrics within the same day! I want to make this process as easy as possible for you to replicate. Here's how the new feature works: 1) Use the Roamer rating to find a few Airbnbs in neighborhoods with fast internet. 🏡 2) Click "Request Speed Test" on each listing. Roamer will pre-populate a custom, proven to work, message to the hosts asking them to reply with their internet speed metrics. 💌 3) Click "Send Message." Then sit back and wait a few hours for the replies to roll in. 😌 Safe travels! --------------------------- FAQ: Is this strategy effective? Yes! I've actually messaged 207 hosts using this template and 106 of them have responded with internet speed metrics within 24 hours. Hosts are incentivized to respond quickly in order to earn superhost status. Will hosts send me a screenshot? No. Unfortunately Airbnb blocks all images and links from their chat until a booking has already been confirmed. Instead, you should expect hosts to type our their download, upload, and latency metrics in a message. Do hosts provide accurate data? Yes! They are very sensitive to misleading you because they do not want you to give them a poor review.
