Hey folks 👋 I’m Pallavi, co-founder of Ricotta Trivia 🧀 We're super excited to share our trivia and icebreakers Slack app with you all! And a massive thanks to @kevin for introducing us to the community. We all have experienced a shift in the way we work and of course, one of the biggest challenges has been keeping our team motivated and preventing burn out. Seems really fun, a good way to bring employees together while still working remotely! Have you planned on making it compatible with other apps than Slack? Like Discord for instance? Congrats on the launch, very good job, team! :)

I remember the times when I would play Trivia games on mIRC. This is such a natural fit for Slack. Great idea!

Hello everyone, 👋 We are very excited to present our new Slack application - Ricotta Trivia - which lets you play Trivia quizzes, fun games and Icebreakers with your co-workers on Slack. Long before the horrible Covid-19 pandemic, we noticed that a lot of tech companies like Zapier etc. had gone fully remote and we observed that one of the downsides of being fully remote is that the teams miss out on the fun water cooler activities that occur in an office environment. Fast forward to the post Covid world, virtual team building has become a major challenge for companies and we wanted to solve that. We built Ricotta Trivia to help teams have fun on Slack asynchronously and without disrupting work. Remote, hybrid or otherwise, your team can have loads of fun by playing Trivia contests, Picture quizzes and Icebreaker games such as This or That (Would you rather), Two truths and a lie and more. We hope you have a lot of fun with your co-workers on Slack! 🎉

This looks like great engagement within slack. Most of the companies moved to remove and it's hard to have fun with coworkers, this is one way to go. I love the name as well. Congrats on launch!

This is a great product! We have been using this on our Slack workspace at the European University of Brain and Technology - NeurotechEU, over the past two weeks. Definitely makes working remotely with 8 member Universities across Europe fun! I have also been recommending Ricotta Trivia at the Karolinska Institute, where I am based. Kudos to the founding team!

We've been using Ricotta Trivia on our workspace at PlayShifu for the last 3 months. What we love the most - The weekly quiz, we keep waiting for every week! Everyone has become so competitive, and every week is a war to end up in top 3. No one forgets to see the trivia facts anymore, in case that question comes up in the next trivia quiz! 10/10 would recommend it to all workspaces, to add competitive fun during remote work!
