This is so much better than a GoPro that it blows my mind. Why didn't they build something like Revl?
@yaroslavazhnyuk Completely agree. We wanted a better action camera, so we built one ourselves... The built-in stabilization is a game changer, especially considering it's waterproof and so much easier than running around with a gimbal.

The REVL camera is incredible. I've been following the development and am really looking forward to getting my hands on one of my own. I love little action cameras -- being able to attach a camera to a board/bike/kite/paddle/pole is amazing. But it's hard to get great video. Stabilization really matters and the REVL team has solved it. The smart editing stuff is cool, too.

The auto-upload feature to the app is very cool, but will there be a way to transfer or upload all of the video clips to my computer via usb for editing?
I got to try the camera out and it was incredible! Blows a GoPro out of the water, and measures the g-force while doing it!
@jen_dickson It's true! We've tested the cameras with a bunch of extreme professional athletes, the data capture is awesome.
I got to try this camera out in-person and was blown away by the mechanics of it as you move it around. It's pretty incredible.
Huge fan - every time I use my gopro I basically throw away the footage. Revl is addressing every single pain point I have in video - stabilized, waterproof, data capture. So excited to support on indigogo.
I tried this camera first hand, easily the best camera I've used for fast paced filming, and it records data about what you're doing, so you can see how fast you flip or how tight you turn (if you enjoy data and learning more about your activities, this is absolutely mind blowing)
Hi everyone, I am the CEO of REVL. We are building the world's smartest action camera to solve the two biggest problems with cameras today. Stabilization and Editing! Our camera is the only one which has both physical and electronic image stabilization built-in. It also comes with an editing app which will find your best moments and let your share them instantly without a computer.
Camera looks great, although longer battery life would be even greater. I personally have a little problem with the video that shows at least 20 ways to almost certainly kill yourself using the selfie stick. :-) I think if people use Revl the way people in the video do all the time, it wouldn't be a good PR for you. But overall it seems to be well engineered product and I hope you succeed shaking the action camera market a little bit.
@ondrejpales We appreciate the honest feedback. We'll be rolling out additional videos to highlight other use cases: mounted to a motorcycle, skateboard, kite, etc.
We will be working with test pilots in the next few weeks, I'll be sure to send you the footage.
@asong408 Thanks, Andrew! We wanted to shake up the action camera space. The other options suck ( they're outdated and still have shaky footage).
