We're regularly asked by customers if we'll write the news releases they plan to send out using our software. This isn't a scalable service with staff writers. So we integrated an AI-based writing tool called Reportabot to do just that. It helps even the most experienced writers overcome writer's block and save invaluable time for busy entrepreneurs, marketers and communications pros who put off writing that dreaded first draft. And we've seen it work for all industries including biotech, non-profits, tech, consumer goods, pet supplies and more.

I usually write release myself, it is time-consuming for sure, but I like them having a specific tone that I set. Can you product learn from my past releases and write in a similar tone?

@igorpavlov This would be a great feature for future iterations. For now, users select from one of three audience voices to generate the first draft - consumers/patients or B2B or Technical experts/scientists. Then then can add their own personal touch. In testing the product, it will write to those levels and importantly, create phrases outside one's comfort zone, which one customer who saw a live demo was impressed by, saying "I would not have written it that way, but I really like it."

@cata It makes use of the ChatGPT integration but we've added our own rules related to news releases in terms of best practice based on input from reporters and PR professionals. The draft it creates is populated in the Reportable release template where users can send it out to an online newswire and a reporter distribution list (built with our media database) without leaving the software.
